"While the guesthouse was clean and well maintained, it was pretty isolated without any amenities (food, coffee). We were told of this in advance which was appreciated. However, on our way back to the highway, we stopped at the sister property as coffee was advertised. The cafe was closed but the owner asked us what we wanted. He provided us a cup of coffee from his kitchen and then charged us for it… $14.00 for 2 small cups of coffee that was not good! I felt taken advantage of seeing as how we just spent a lot of money to stay in a guesthouse without any amenities an no breakfast/food options out in the middle of no where. Some hospitality would have been appreciated and very easy to extend."

"We got here 15 minutes before the restaurant was closing and they were still happy to cook for us. We had the best meal we’ve had so far in Iceland here! The Lamb was so flavorful, the potatoes cooked to perfection, great soup and salad too! The room was comfortable and clean. Bed was soft, shower hot and had fantastic water pressure. There was a beautiful waterfall just 2 minutes down the road. It was the perfect stay."

"We had a good night here. The room was spacious and the kitchen had enough to cook that night. Beds were comfy. The guesthouse seemed new so it had everything you needed. The shower curtain could be changed more frequently, as it had pink mold on the bottom of it. Since there was no exhaust in the bathroom, if you opened the window while showering, it created a vacuum that made the shower curtain blow onto you and then the nasty bottom of the shower curtain was touching your legs. Other than that, great stay. I will say though that the room gets warm overnight with people in it and no AC and you can't really open the windows for fear of midges coming in - make sure no heat is already on in the summertime when you check in. Plenty of parking for all the guests."

"Couple travelling from Canada, we had a great at this place nestled about 10 minutes off the ring road. We stayed in one of four rooms at the place, and enjoyed the full size kitchen and living space outside of our room. The bathroom was also very large in size. We loved the peacefulness of staying out in the country rather than in the town. We would stay again!"

"Cuisine super fonctionnelle. Café à disposition. Sel poivre etc. Près de tout. Salle de bain privée. Lit confortable. L'insonorisation n'est pas parfaite pour les dormeurs légers, mais les gens étaient respectueux. Seul défaut: l'odeur épouvantable de parfum dans la chambre si les odeurs vous incommode!"
