"Glenhorm Bay was a convenient stop for us before continuing along the Cabot Trail toward Ingonish. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. I had expected to be right on the ocean, but our room was actually up by the highway, a couple of minutes away. That was likely my mistake for not reading the listing more carefully. Unfortunately, dinner at the hotel was very disappointing, and none of us could eat our meals, despite being told they had a Red Seal chef. Overall, it was a decent stay in a great location for exploring the Cabot Trail,"

"This was an inexpensive but nice place to stay. It’s rustic but has its charm. Rooms were fine but I missed a fridge. Best part was the restaurant. The food was good, lots of variety and the price was reasonable. Good place to stay if you’re hiking the Skyline trail."

"Ocean views from the house are exceptional. The house’s location is convenient to Dingwall, Bay St Lawrence, and the Cabot Trail. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna after hiking local trails. The backyard dome proved useful. The house is comfortable."

"It was an upgrade for camping. The nice thing about the accommodation was that there were flush toilets and showers as well as a fully functional kitchen in the communal building. The outdoor lighting wasn’t very bright so a good bright flashlight is a must. It will help you to locate the assigned pod. Don’t bring large or a lot of luggage. There isn’t a lot of space left next to the queen-sized foam bed. Having indoor shoes is a good idea as the floor is not finished. The plug-in electric heater warmed up the space very quickly and nicely. After turning it off before going to sleep, the temperature stayed warm until getting up 7 hours later. A quick 10 min plug in brought the temperature back to the same level as the night before. Remember that this not to be like a motel room. It is meant to accommodate those who are camping. Communication with the host and his team was constant to ensure our needs were met. Good accommodations for those looking for a cozy no-frills place to spend the night."

"The cottage was impeccable and great for our 2 couples. We appreciated being able to walk to the Periwinkle cafe for breakfast. A few hooks in the bathroom and bedrooms would be helpful. Highly recommend!"
