The Base Camp for 5289m Friendship Peak in the Pir Panjal range of the Indian Himalaya. Woke up to refill water from the nearby stream to find the valley below filled with clouds and the morning sun lighting up the mountains.
It is also known as 'pile of corpses' due to people dying in bad weather trying to cross the pass. Altitude- 4,114 m or 13,497 ft
#Blue Rohtang Pass, is a high mountain pass on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km from Manali. It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh, India. A must visit for every travel freak
