A beautiful hotel with great view and a coastal hiking trail. The room is spacious with a bathtub overlooking the ocean. Unfortunately, all the facilities are chargeable eg Waterhouse with pool. The hotel is staffed by a very young group lacking in international experience.

The hotel was a bit out of the way but worth the drive if you like to open the window to the sound of waves and the view of the wide ocean just in front of your balcony. There is a small "town" area at the ground of the property with restaurant, cafe and convenient store. Nice if you just want to stay and relax at the hotel. There are restaurants nearby but you will have to take a car to go out. Would be helpful if the staffs were more fluent in English. Sometimes you have to explain a few times for them to get what you're saying.

Hotel itself is beautiful and staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room was great although the furnishings show a little wear and tear. A nice escape from the busy city and very quiet, though you’ll need to get a taxi to go into town every time which costs between 30-50 k

Little disappointed…
There was no separate vanity and chair in the bathroom, and the bathtub was a bit slippery and wide, making it inconvenient to use. The bathroom has no exhaust fan and has glass walls and doors, but needs more covering. Additionally, the chairs in the bedroom were very old and there was no comfortable sofa, which was disappointing considering the cost of a hotel stay. The overall size of the room was large, but it was disappointing that the space between the bedroom and bathroom was not utilized well.

체크인부터 짜증 3인으로 설정하여 예약하니 만석이고 2인으로 예약하니 룸이 보여 2인으로 예약하고 호텔측 전화해서 성인 2 아이 2 숙박 가능하냐고 확인함 2룸으로 체크인시 도와주겠다고 하였으나, 당일 만석으로 킹베드밖에 없다고함. 침구가 매우 눅눅하고 날파리 같은게 있음 아이들 썬번이 심해서 알로에 겔 추가 문의 하니 방당 1개밖에 제공안된다고 딱 잘라 말함 성수기에 돈은 돈대로 쓰고 서비스는 엉망이고 여러가지로 좋지 않은 추억만 쌓임 수영장 이용 시 안내요원이 돈있는 사람만 카바나 이용한다는 말을 다른 고객들한테 하는걸 들음. 썬베드가 자리가 있는데 굳이 카바나를 이용하겠습니까? 설사 그렇다하더라도 잘못된 언행 아닙니까?

There is a construction going on on the ocean view side. From 9in the morning you were hear grinding and drilling sound until 6 PM. It’ll be a smart move to make a reservation on the mountain view. It’ll be very hard to relax if you stay on the ocean view side.

Don't get a room with mountain view
If you are coming to this hotel, make sure you reserve a room with ocean view. The other side of the hotel faces parking area and some trees. There was so much noise coming from some machine room, that we couldn't use the balcony at all. We complained about this, but hotel was really not interested in solving the problem for us even though we were staying for four nights. Overall our interaction with the hotel staff didn't go so well and that almost ruined the whole stay for us. They're english is not that good. Luckily my wife speaks korean. The pool area was great and staff in the restaurants were really helpful and kind. This definitely saved our stay. In may ways still was still the most disappointing five star hotel I have ever stayed at.

가격대비 서비스가 떨어짐. 시설은 만족.
가격에 비해 서비스가 뛰어나진 않네요. 체크인도 공장 생산라인 같은?느낌을 받았구요. 손님에 비해 직원이 너무 없는 것 같습니다. 가운가져다 달라는 요청도 굉장히 오래 걸렸고, 수영장 스탭도 자리만 지키고..직원들 분위기가 딱 시키는 일만, 맡은 일만 하고 다른건 하나도 신경 안쓰더군요.

Definitively one of the best hotels I ever visited in Korea. The distinctive architecture and very refined interior decoration, giving such a relaxing yet luxurious atmosphere. The location is also great: facing the sea, right on the shore, at a walking distance from Haedong Yonggung temple. The room was very spacious, with a balcony (armchairs, table..) toward the sea. The bathroom was also very distinctive, both in terms of design and amenities, communicating with the balcony, and with a large bath facing the sea... I staid for one night only but this stay was memorable! Will definitively come back!
