House with terrace landscaped garden with children's games (Trampoline, Swing ect ...) quiet located in the Perigord Vert. The installation of the heated pool is planned for the month of May 2019. Near the Hermeline area (lake, zip line, vélorail, tree climbing), Château de Chalus with the story of Richard the Lionheart, the castle of Cars, 30 minutes from Limoges and Périgueux. Visit of a prehistoric cave, of the little Green Venice (Brantôme), Medieval city of Saint Yrieix La Perche, the castle of Jumilhac. You will enjoy our summer markets with all its regional producers. You can enjoy on the spot or take away all the Périgord and Limousin products.

  • My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France. They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! The sunrise was spectacular with some nice pink colours and mist in the valley.

Si vous aimez le calme tout en ayant tout à proximité, c'est l'endroit idéal. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, la maison a tout le confort nécessaire et la piscine est un grand plus. Les propriétaires sont très discrets tout en étant toujours disponibles. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances. Bref, des vacances de rêve.

Calme et ressourcement

Maison au calme dans un petit hameau. Nous avons été surpris de redécouvrir la clarté de la lune et des étoiles, loin de la pollution lumineuse de la ville...Gîte très bien équipé et parfaitement adapté à un séjour avec des enfants en bas âge.Trop tôt dans la saison pour profiter de la piscine, nous reviendrons peut-être un jour en été...
