"The property is simply wonderful on every level, with every conceivable holiday requirement fully catered for. It is in a beautiful location, albeit slightly remote, but with the hosts, John and Deirdre living next door at the farm. We are a suburban couple but our experience at this house is one we will both treasure forever ! The Wow factor on walking in through the front door remains throughout the stay. Our high expectations before arrival were easily exceeded. John and Deirdre really are the most perfect hosts, whom it was a real pleasure to meet. The surrounding area is beautiful and as well as being a beautiful house, it provides a great base for exploring the delights of West Cork. A five star rating doesn’t do it justice ! Thank you Deirdre and John !"

"We decided to stay just out of Cork so we could be closer to the Blarney castle. So glad we did! The hotel was in a perfect location and convenient. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the rooms clean. The shower area was small but sufficient. Great views from our room. "

"Had an absolutely wonderful stay. Upon checkin we were upgraded to a suite that overlooked the street side and harbor. The room was large and very well designed. The bed was so super comfortable. The nicest staff ever and even provided us with suggestions of points of interest along our next leg of the trip, all were spot on. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend staying at Long Quay House!"

"If you are looking for a quaint and peaceful place out of the city and in the countryside, this is it. Host was very responsive and kind. Home was cute, updated and clean. A nice deck to eat breakfast and a cozy blanket to watch tv. Would go back!"

"Nice rooms. We got upgraded to a Junior suite & it was beautiful & clean. Nice bathrooms. Hotel is walkable to everything & nice to have parking. Only complaint is room was a bit hot and even with the open window, it didn’t cool off too much. I would definitely stay here again. Great place!"
