"Everything we needed was provided. We did bump our heads a couple of times on the low door frames and had to take care upstairs, because of the different levels of steps. We purchased a weekly parking permit to park in the public parking area by the rec center. When we needed to load/unload it was challenging at times to navigate the car down the narrow street, especially with some parked cars sticking further out. Overall though a lovely cottage."

"We had a wonderful stay at Scibblers Cottage. It was very well provisioned, cosy and clean. Woodbridge is a really great place to explore Suffolk from and Scribbler cottage is within walking distance everyhting you would need, pubs, shops, walks on the river and restaurants. "

"House was absolutely ideal for us -- small but perfectly proportioned and walking distance to everything. Parking directly outside the house was a challenge most days but we could always find a space a short distance down the road. House is cozy, clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended -- we would definitely stay there again! One caution -- the stairs are extremely steep and would likely be a challlenge for anyone with mobility issues."

"Low Tide is very convenient for the beach and Aldeburgh’s excellent High Street, with its own off-road parking. It is a rather small property although we found it both warm and quite comfortable for two. My only gripe is that we both found the mattresses rather too hard for a comfortable nights sleep!"

"Beautiful cottage in a great location. Felt at home straight away with all the amenities and more that you could want. Fantastic location, a stone's throw from the beach. Everything provided was tasteful and of a high spec/standard. Would definitely recommend to others to stay. Lucy was easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended. "Excellent location, accommodation very good. Minor concerns - size of television, condition of kitchen tap also although the parking arrangements are clearly stated within the house book they are not clear online. The latter just says that there is parking for 2 cars but more accurately one of the cars has to be small. We had to park the second car on the road, no problem as we were out of season but it could be a problem at busier times. Overall though we all had a very enjoyable stay."

"The Fisherman's Rest provided us with nearly everything we needed for our week in Suffolk. Hamper and DVD player were extra bonuses. Only issues: No instructions on how to operate the hob No extra bin liners (at least we couldn't find any) Otherwise, a lovely place to stay. Warning: The stairs are steep and our disabled son had difficulty negotiating them but he was alright with our support."

Business trip would definitely stay again.

"This was a business trip, I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the air conditioning. During my stay they were having extensive building works carried out but I have to say it was seamless for me. I heard no noise whatsoever as it was all done whilst I was at work. The only issue was there were less car parking spaces but the work men were very accommodating as well. I literally went out one day and came back and the old restaurant had been blocked off and a new one opened. The staff were even really kind in helping me enquire about some pictures I had been admiring on the wall in the morning! All the staff were really helpful and kind and at one point a huge bus party of European tourists arrived, one member of staff was trying to sort out access and she did it so patiently making sure everyone's needs were met. I'm sure that the disruptions were difficult for the staff but it did not affect me at all. There is a lovely outside space where you can sit by the river and have a drink or a bite to eat, the Korean Chicken bites were to die for I had them three nights running. I would definitely stay here again. I am looking forward to seeing it all finished."

All good except !

"Nice room very clean staff pleasant but bar area in need of a bit of love snd attention. Breakfast very good but placement of things s bit odd. Why is the butter with the fresh fruit section and not by the toaster and bread and jams !? Also tea making area very congested and when busy you have to wait a very long time to access the hot water/ coffee machine. "

A good and convenient hotel.

"I have stayed here before and found it well maintained, clean, comfortable and safe. On this visit the hotel did not disappoint either, though the bar staff left a lot to be desired, three chatting while you wait in an empty bar is not good. A big contrast to the young man on reception, welcoming, quick and efficient. Convenient for Ipswich, Felixstowe and even Bury St Edmund are a very easy drive"
