"The place was very nice,clean stocked with coffee, tea and any kitchen utensils or dishes you could ever need for a short stay. The setting was great very nice outdoor space for dogs and a lunch on the porch. The host was very helpful and not at all intrusive. Check in and check out was super easy all done via electronics. I will definetly be back here and highly reccomend."

"This place is great. It's basically a hotel room, with the privacy of a quiet Chico neighborhood. Albeit with a large bathroom. The inclusion of coffee and filters for the small coffee pot was an added bonus. Great place, and I would definitely stay again. Thanks."

"It was great to get away & to include our dogs. We were never able to get the internet to work & our contact's response was to use our phones. The microwave didn't work and the fry pans and utensils need replacing. Check in was only given 10 minutes before the start time & we had problems getting to the VRBO site for info using our phones. "This grand old hotel has been completely refurbished and very well done indeed. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The room was impeccably clean. The location is perfect in the heart of downtown Chico. The only negative was the TV did not work properly. It was supposed to have the common streaming channels (e.g., Netflix) but even a staff person could only get network stations."
