Ideally located just half a mile from Georgetown Lake's public boat launch, six miles from Discovery Ski Area, and approximately 15 miles from Anaconda's renowned Old Works Golf Course, this is the perfect home base for experiencing everything southwest Montana has to offer.

One of the cabin's most inviting features is its expansive deck overlooking the surrounding mountains and natural landscape. Start your morning with a cup of coffee and fresh mountain air, spend the afternoon relaxing in the sunshine, or fire up the propane BBQ for an outdoor meal.

As evening approaches, soak in the private hot tub beneath Montana's star-filled skies. During the winter, there's something especially magical about watching the snow fall while relaxing in the warm water.

Inside, the living room offers rustic mountain charm, comfortable seating, a Smart TV for streaming your favorite shows, and a cozy propane gas fireplace. Large windows beautifully frame the surrounding scenery, bringing the outdoors in while you relax in comfort.

Comforts of Home

Whispering Pines features two inviting bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-size bed, dresser, and fresh linens.

The fully equipped eat-in kitchen includes cookware, dishes, utensils, and everything needed to prepare your favorite meals. We also provide basic pantry staples, including cooking oils, spices, flour, and sugar.

The bathroom features a walk-in shower, fresh towels, and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

Whether you're planning an adventurous getaway or simply looking for a peaceful place to recharge, you'll find the comforts of home in a beautiful mountain setting.

Four Seasons of Montana Adventure

The Georgetown Lake and Anaconda-Pintler region offers an incredible variety of recreational activities throughout the year.

SUMMER: Fishing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, and exploring the surrounding mountains.
FALL: Colorful mountain scenery, peaceful hikes, wildlife viewing, and crisp evenings around the fireplace.
WINTER: Downhill skiing at Discovery Ski Area, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and relaxing in the hot tub after a day in the snow.
SPRING: Enjoy the changing mountain landscape, quieter trails, fishing opportunities, and beautiful scenery as Montana comes back to life.

Nearby Philipsburg offers charming shops, sapphire mining, local breweries, and the famous Sweet Palace candy store. Anaconda is home to historic attractions and the Jack Nicklaus-designed Old Works Golf Course.

Peaceful, Private & Connected

You'll enjoy the privacy of the entire cabin, spacious deck, and private hot tub, with plenty of opportunities to appreciate the surrounding natural beauty.

The cabin is equipped with Starlink internet, which is generally reliable for streaming, Wi-Fi calling, and everyday connectivity. Cellular reception can be limited in our mountain location, and severe weather may occasionally interrupt internet service.

A Few Things to Know

Mountain weather can change quickly, particularly during winter. Four-wheel drive and/or appropriate traction equipment are strongly recommended during snowy conditions.

The cabin uses a private well and septic system. Our water is naturally mineral-rich.

Kayaks, paddleboards, and other personal recreational equipment stored on the property are reserved for homeowner use and are not included with the rental.

For property security, motion-activated exterior cameras monitor the driveway and entry door. There are no cameras inside the cabin or covering the hot tub area.
