"The room and hotel staff were great. We shuttled to and from the airport with no wait. The drivers were courteous and helpful putting our luggage in and out of the vehicle. The restaurant staff, however, needs improvement. Breakfast service was slow but polite. The food was good. We came down for dinner and there were two waitresses. One was taking orders out and waiting on tables while the other one was behind the counter and did not move. She kept telling us she would be with us shortly but was more concerned about drying glassware and wiping down the bar instead of sitting us. We waited 12 minutes, watching her behind the counter finding other things to do than seat us. We finally left and drove to another restaurant."

"The little cottage was adorable, very modern and clean. A grab bar in the bathroom near the toilet would have been nice but we are older women so young people wouldn’t need it. The lake level was very low when we were there and I would have liked to walk along the shore but the access to the lake is for younger, more agile people. The rocks at the bottom of the stairs and lack of railings on the lower steps was a problem. The views and the many windows were perfect as was the deck area. In all it was a relaxing stay."

"This was a charming resort on Lake Champlain. We had a cabin with a lake view and wished we had booked more than one night. Even though we stayed on off season, we felt there was plenty to do and see. Staff were top notch, recommending an excellent restaurant in Middlebury when the resort restaurant was closed for a wedding. Highly recommended."
