"Spent a week there - family get-together in quiet place with hiking trips. We loved it. Cooking together and enjoyed dinner on the terrace which is clearly understated in the pictures online, it is a dream with a view you wont forget. "Absolutely stunning location. Very modern facilities in fantastic location. "The house is lovely with big rooms and the most stunning view. Plunge pool very welcome - with temperatures above average for the season. The lack of upstairs loo would be the only minor criticism. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so peaceful and with excellent entertainment from the wildlife. It is a drive to anywhere from here for shopping/restaurants etc but just beautiful. "Lovely gite in a nice village. Good base for exploring the surrounding areas. Michel was very easy to contact and very flexible with our needs. Garden was spectacular. Only recommendation would be for another comfortable sofa/armchair as for a family of 5, one settee wasn’t quite enough. Overall a great stay, would recommend!"

"Peaceful, remote, cosy, romantic, well equipped. This is exactly what we wanted for our mini-honeymoon in late summer. Dream view and location. Loved the two hot and cold spa baths, the comfortable bed/pillows, and the cooking utensils. "The hotel is classed as 2 star and I guess that's about right, but I stayed in a 4 star the day after my stay at Hotel Blu Aran and immediately wished I could go back. It's honest, clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not provide dinner but the receptionist was wonderful and offered a suggestion in town which was one of the best meals I've ever had. "I stayed in early June ( out of season in the area) the hotel was in effect closed, no staff there ( just someone who came to check us in ) so no bar or food. No option for breakfast. I think we were to only two staying there. It was a one night stay (thankfully) and in the morning we had no Hot Water, just packed and left as no staff around. I understand owners and staff want holidays in the off season but then they should just have closed the hotel for a few weeks. Only positive point was safe parking outside for our motorbikes. "
