"Der Aufenthalt bei Rudy und seiner Frau war wirklich sehr sehr toll. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, und auch der weitere Aufenthalt der folgenden Tage war sehr entspannt. Er erkundigte sich nach unserem Wohlergehen, und war wirklich sehr darauf bedacht, das man sich wohl fühlt! Sollten wir noch mal in Belgien Urlaub machen, dann dort!! "Only negative comment would be the small space available for where bed has to be located with low ceiling on the inside half. We didn’t feel like sleeping in the double bed during our stay because of this especially in the hot weather. It felt too stuffy and the person who ends up on the inside May feel slightly trapped. I also had to call the concierge twice expecting the ‘access to property information’, which should have been more timely than it was to provide peace of mind that all is...

"In general, the house is nice and very quietly located. The kitchen is nicely equipped and most things are functional. I see some issues however: for the price, there should be some basics included such as toilet paper, towels, and bed sheets. The owners told us to bring towels and bed sheets, but not the toilet paper.in general, I have to admit that the communication with the owners was not the best."

"The Royal Snail is a great boutique hotel on the outskirts of town but very walkable. Free parking outside the property. Rooms were spacious and all staff were happy to help. Breakfast was good - only cold buffet on display however hot items could be made on request which was great as they were fresh! I really appreciated the omelette and bacon which was cooked for me! Restaurant was lovely with great food. It was busy with few staff however we never felt like we were neglected and they made sure we had everything we needed. Good selection of wines and specialist gin with many tonic options. The spa is quite pricey but beautiful, very small but a high standard - treatments need to be booked in advance as external staff cons to do these. The gym is small and functional (TV was missing from wall when we were there). The pool is really tiny - it’s a plunge pool more for decoration - would be great to have some big fish in it as not really a functional pool! The bedrooms are nice with the best mini bar I’ve had for years! Huge super king bed. Beware that some bedrooms have only a glass screen between the bedroom and bathroom with no privacy screen! Ours had a separate bathroom which was fine (6th floor). The TV really needs upgraded in the room - specified SMART TV but wasn’t - usually freebies channels only, no internet to cast devices or watch Netflix etc. I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely return! "

"We found ourself unexpectedly in Namur as we had a puncture enroute to Austria, and with all the garages closed on the weekend, we enjoyed everything Namur had to offer.. The shining star was on Monday morning when my non existent French was getting me nowhere with the tyre garages, the lovely receptionist called a few garages for me until we found a tyre and we could continue our holiday.. We are extremely grateful "
