Great views and friendly staff. However the staff weren't v proactive. Lots of standing around when actually areas of the property could have been cleaner. The glass balustrade needs regular cleaning to improve view. Long waits to be served at bar too

The property is decent if you’re on a budget or lack options. The bathrooms have a sewer smell, almost like things don’t completely flush. Most of our plugs didn’t work. The place is old and it shows. The staff are all great, it’s just the hotel.

An amazing week

We spend an amazing week in this hotel! The room was espectacular, the view very nice. The service from the boys was very good and friendly. Especially Junior was great! Good breakfast with fresh made customised omelets. The food in the restaurant and at the pool was great, too. Very recommendable place. Just their stock of wine and Prosecco run low quite quickly. 😉

This small hotel was at the top of a hill, with amazing views of the valley and ocean. The pool is beautiful and also overlooking the ocean. The staff were so welcoming and kind. The property is very tranquil and beautifully decorated incorporating the nature around it. Breakfast was a wonderful huge spread of fresh breads and cakes with attention to food allergies. The beach is a short walk down the hill, with shops and restaurants. We went into town each day, which was a quick Uber ride. We used the spa and can’t say enough about Anna! She is amazing!

Good property, good room, not spacious but ok as it has a second single bed, bathroom was small, shower pressure was weak due to some holes clogged. Swimmimg pool small, second pool needed maintenance and was closed. Breakfast good and dining service good including staff very helpful and kind. Not many parking spots available. Overall a good stay

A beautiful place but sadly with a very poor maintenance. Our room was full of bugs due to a broken bathroom window and a huge gap on the sliding doors. Towels were so worn out we could see through it, the sheets had holes on it, and shower and bidet had no hot water at all. Not recommended for old folks, the place is seated on a cliff with lots of steps to get to rooms. We left the next morning for a better place which was a big inconvenience since it took time away from our vacation.

If you’re European this property is quite a few levels down from what you believe you’re booking. As an independent hotel it is seriously lacking the level of service and quality that its price would entail. The staff don’t help you with luggage even though you’re on top of a hill and really need to do a track. The bedroom is passable, with the wash basin inside the room and not in the bathroom, the varanda of the hotel has 2 very hard chairs of wood with no pillows or furnishings. The bedroom itself was clean but the varanda dirty. On the outside area the pool that was good to use was the heated pool, but it was relatively small. The big problem is that just beside the pool it was the bar of the reception area, and these people can’t clock that they have tons of dead insects in the surface dividing the 2, picture attached. Staff are medium nice. It’s near the nightlife of town. I’m not returning, I’ve stayed in much better places at this price point. ~ around 280-300 USD for 2 nights

Pros and Cons

Great location close to some beaches and not long walk or uber to the main street (shops, restaurants, etc.). The Wifi is poor to non existent in the rooms, so I couldnt work (when I needed to) or watch any Smart TV, which was really irritating as I had work to do each day. I was able to do this in the main eating area, so it wasnt the end of the world but for the price, I expected these basics. Staff were overall friendly, one was a little moody than others but ok. the breakfast was AMAZING! so much choice and fresh goods (apart from the bread). Dinner was poor, go out to eat. the rooms were cleaned every day (if you wanted) and the beds were super comfy. I did have a leak in my bathroom. but it wasnt a major problem. Overall it was an ok place to stay, clean and quite with the bonus of a spa/massage place next door

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est impeccable et la vue de la terrasse est superbe. Belles piscines. Les chambres sont confortables mais la douche n’avait pas du tout de pression. Il fait quand même être en forme pour monter aux chambres, beaucoup de marches. Très bon service du personnel

Me hospedei neste hotel e tive uma experiência excelente! A localização é realmente incrível: de frente para o mar, em uma área bastante tranquila e reservada, perfeita para descansar e relaxar. O hotel em si também é muito calmo, oferecendo um ambiente acolhedor e silencioso. As piscinas são bem bonitas, super bem cuidadas, todo o hotel é muito limpo. O serviço de spa é ótimo, ideal para quem quer desacelerar e aproveitar ao máximo os dias de folga. Gostei muito do café da manhã, com variedade, qualidade e tudo sempre fresco. O que fez a diferença mesmo foi o atendimento: todos os funcionários foram extremamente atenciosos e prestativos, sempre prontos para ajudar com simpatia. Com certeza recomendo esse hotel para quem busca conforto, sossego, ótima localização e um atendimento excelente!
