"The house is clean, well maintained and very spacious for our 5 adults who stayed. The complex is safe, very well maintained and the pool area is very nice. It is in a quieter part of town so be prepared for a walk to the restaurants but we didn't mind it and, at the end of the evening, a 20 minute walk helped to walk off the delicious tapas! Antonio was a very polite and responsive host and made the experience of booking his property very easy."

"A good place to stay though a car is needed as it is near the top of a hill. The house was warm & well equipped. While we were there it was sometimes very windy. We may have just been unlucky. Communication with the caretaker was difficult. He spoke no English & our Spanish & German was limited. We enjoyed Peniscola, its beaches, coves & castle."

"Positives - Oropesa is very wheelchair accessible with wide pavements and plentiful dropped kerbs. Negatives - Property was wholly misrepresented as being wheelchair accessible - it isn't. Apart from steps at the front door and on to the terrace, the rooms are far too small to get a wheelchair around. As an example, the only clear floor space in the bathroom was directly in front of the handbasin, less than a square metre, and my smaller than average chair wouldn't go through the narrow door...

"First impression is everything. The front door was white but covered in rust. When you got inside there was rust on all the faucets including in the shower. There was no coffee maker. The view is lovely from the balcony. Bed in the master bedroom was extremely small. It truly is a double bed so if you are 6 feet tall your feet hang off the end. I would not stay there again unless the bed in the master was change to two twins beside each other aka king bed. "
