Enjoy quality time together, watching the calming mist come up through the hollow, hovering softly over the trees. Quietly watching for the neighboring deer, headed down the rock paths to the river for a quick drink from the river. Please take care to not leave extra food outside. Our local tiny thieves (raccoons) will help themselves.

The big things stand out- the nice comfortable cabin and bed, the views, the trails, the hot tub, deck, cleanliness and more. The little things stand out too- S’mores, hot tube ready to go at perfect temperature.
If you are wanting a beautiful, scenic place to unplug and rest, this is the perfect place. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. I'd love to come back here every fall!
Overall it was a nice get away, the upstairs stayed on the warmer side, limited WiFi & Cellular service at the cabin inside or out. Everything else was great, loved the bed/topper, kitchen well stocked, clean.
No complaints here. Great property, very nice hottub and bed, AND working garbage disposal (so many leave out this feature). Everyone had a lovely time
We enjoyed our weekend stay very much. The second story loft was incredibly hot. The AC did not cool it very well. View was amazing, hot tub was great and the cabin itself was very clean.
We had a wonderful time in this cabin in the mountains. It was close enough proximity to visit hiking trails, like devils dens State Park and Hevner Runestone Park, but also able to take in the secluded nature of the cabin. We got to visit Flying Q ranch and catch a movie at the Malco in fort smith both during our last full day. The bedroom loft was a little warm since it’s the peak of summer, but the host had already provided a couple of fans, ice tray in the freezer, and some cold drinks in the refrigerator to keep us cool and comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! We appreciated the thoughtfulness that the owner obviously put into the cabin. Waiters for the nearby river for fishing hung on a rack, hot chocolate, snacks, candy and popcorn were on the counter, you can tell they care. The location was so peaceful and quiet! The hot tub on the back porch was our favorite part - it was the perfect spot to watch the sun rise. I saw a few mention the loft being hot, and it seemed they had installed an ac upstairs to help with that so that wasn’t a problem. I did get cold a few nights, but it wasn’t a damper. We went to the nearby river to fish and the owner let us borrow some fishing poles. We were able to catch a few small bass. We’d love to stay again!

Me and my husband stayed 3 nights and we had the best time! The cabin is absolutely beautiful so is the property grounds! We went on a train ride 30 minutes from the property in Van burren through the mountains!! There was an issue with the hot tub but Miss Brenda was fast to respond! We will definitely be back! Perfect romantic couple getaway! I would give way more stars if it would let me! Highly recommend!! The cabin looks just like her pictures she had fall decor out so cute and peaceful!
My husband and I drove up from Texas for a quiet NYE. We had intended on doing some hiking in the area but it was so cozy, we never left the property - just read, walked around the property, hung out in the hot tub and listened to music. It’s decorated so cute and the beds are very comfy, plenty of blankets, towels, etc. There is a beautiful view from the porch. We didn’t end up using the fire pit because it rained quite a bit but there was firewood available. It got below freezing but the heater works really well so it wasn’t a problem. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic tools you need to make your meals. It is a great place to stay for a quiet weekend away from everything.
It was great to get away for the weekend in the quiet hills and disconnect. Great weekend relaxing and reading books without the distraction of a TV or digital media!
This property was stunning. From a well decorated cozy cabin to a hottub with an exceptional view. Close enough to a small town to get groceries. Far enough away from everything to get some peace of mind. Will definitely look at visiting this property again!
We went to have a quiet, relaxing few days away from it all, and were not disappointed. The cabin was clean and quiet, just right! Host was attentive and worked to make our stay perfect. Thank you!
We absolutely loved our stay here! If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Everything was super clean and decorated with personal touches that made us feel right at home. The hot tub on the deck was perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and breakfast each morning at the patio table while listening to the birds singing was a close second. The sunrise views from the loft were amazing!
Just about a 20 min drive to town for supplies, and there a couple of Dollar Generals that are even closer. Brenda was quick to respond to all messages and was super helpful with everything. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from it all and enjoy some relaxation time.
I booked the cabin for a weeklong getaway and absolutely loved the place. It was peaceful and quiet and it's hard to top waking up to the breathtaking view every morning. I've been gushing about it to my friends and family for the last week.
My Wife, Son and I stayed at Brenda’s Cabin for spring break and it was an excellent experience. The property is beautiful and interesting. We explored and played on the rocky boulders along the cliff side and went down the trail to the river where we skipped rocks and did some lite fishing. The hot tub was ready to go and was a welcome reprieve after hiking all day.
The Cabin was very comfortable and warm. The beds were cozy too. Clean towels and linens were provided on arrival and refreshed mid way through our stay. The kitchen is stocked with necessities and the propane grill worked well. Nearest grocery store was about a 20 minute drive. There is some internet connectivity but we did not use it too much.
There are excellent national parks and other trails within driving distance.
