Looking out over the southern most point of Portugal
Here is the pretty me spending my wonderful bank holiday in a wonderful nature wonder in the mediterranic climate and culture (a cross between Europe and Africa, close commercial and cultural relations - at least historically - with the rest of the Mediterranean) basin. Apparently, the Mediterranean Sea does not bathe Portuguese shore instead, its geographical location of the country entirely bathed by the Atlantic Ocean! Take the ferry from Faro to this beautiful island!! Bring your own food and wine.. The restaurant is expensive. Amazing view though. Loved it.

We were so happy to swim in the indoor heated pool and the lovely warm sauna was perfect after a day of exploring the old town. The breakfast we received as we waited for our taxi to the airport was delicious . Perfect location, great staff, comfortable bed!
