"House was very cozy, easy to check in, and full of useful amenities. The jacuzzi tub was my kids' favorite part, as well as the pinball machine. The jukebox was cool but skips really easily so not really something you will use often, but cool to see it working. The pellet stove worked very well and was nice to put damp clothes on to give a quick warm up since it was very cold outside when we visited. Checkout was 10am which came quickly - I was thinking more like hotels that are usually 11am and owner/cleaner was there at 10:04am so we were a bit surprised but packed up very quickly to get out and let him get the cleaning done. Overall, very good experience and even though we didn't use a lot of the additional amenities, there was a lot of things that I bring on my own that I didn't need to like shampoo, coffee, lots of kitchen utensils, etc. So it was more well stocked than I realized it would be - which is always nice. "

"Staff was very helpful and accomidating after heing without power for 3 days our stay was the much needed relaxation we needed!!"

"Clare and Farewell are close by with a range of stores and eating places. We got some delicious food at a beautiful Thai restaurant in Clare and also ate at a very friendly neighborhood restaurant called The Nest. Dollar General right next door of The Nest came in handy too. The cabin is in a very quiet neighborhood. "

"We enjoyed staying here for our family weekend away! It was cozy and we loved the decor (especially the wooden countertop ). The beds were comfortable and the house seems to have everything that you’d need. I loved the water source above the stove, it was too cool! The communication was great and we will definitely be back! Just a heads up to anyone who may be arriving at night like we did, it’s off of a main road and is somewhat hard to find in the dark. Look for the pink garbage can by the road. When you pull in, it’s a somewhat long and very dark drive down the driveway to get to the house. They do have motion lights once you get close to the house which was nice. Would for sure recommend this place! "
