"I made the reservation in the afternoon of the date I wanted to stay. Some time after making the reservation I called to ask how to check-in given that it said there is no front desk and I didn't receive any instructions. I was told in German they are fully booked, despite having a confirmed reservation (and the hotels.com website having several rooms there). "Die Unterkunft sieht genau so gut aus wie auf den Bildern. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren vorhanden. Ebenso ein Parkplatz vor der Tür. Des Weiteren war auch die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlte nichts. "Wunderschönes uriges Hotel im typischen bayrischen Stil gehalten . Pool war angenehm und bei einer unglaublichen Aussicht konnte man die Seele baumeln lassen. Das Frühstück war essenziell gehalten , aber mit lokalen und hochwertigen Zutaten. Der Service war toll und wir haben uns erholen können . Klare Buchungsempfehlung."

"Nicly situated hotel with beautiful view over Bodenmais. Pool, sauna, garden, restaurant and bar at the hotel. New proprietors (June 2025) which did everything to make us feel welcome and at home. A lot of out door activities avaliable in vicinity. Summer rodel was on our 12-year top list. Staying at Luca in Bodenmais gave access to a local activity card which gave really good discounts on a lot of activities - for instance was two tours with summer rodel at Silberberg, ski lift and tour in...

"A very large and spacious room with two separate areas, a good wellness zone with a wide selection of different saunas and a small pool, and a nice restaurant. Some drawbacks: the bathroom and toilet doors had no locks, and there was no closing door between the two room areas. There were also no croissants at breakfast. The price felt a bit too high for what was offered."
