A grand living area w/vaulted ceiling, perfect for family gatherings. Patio doors lead to a large deck & fenced back yard. The master has a king bed w/ensuite. Conveniently located to all Land Between the Lakes' attractions and across the street from Lake Barkley. We own Stoneybrooke a curated gift/antique shop, hosting creative classes and private events. Thanksgiving break

Our son is in the military and this house was very close for him to see us and visit with the family. The house is everything as described perfect for our fur babies we will be staying again in the future.

It was lovely! It was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. The beds were most comfortable and the towels were fluffy. A definite do-over!

Land Between the lake’s getaway

This house is beautiful, so well decorated and comfortable. The hosts pay so much attention to all the details. They had coffee and creamer already waiting for us. The home is easy to find and so convenient to Land Between the Lakes. We would absolutely recommend this home.

Julie was awesome!

Booked this rental for 9 days and Julie along with her husband we’re very accommodating and the house was everything they said it was. Very clean and spacious and parking was plentiful. Perfect for our getaway trip. Will definitely book this again and would suggest this to others as well.

Family weekend

This property is exceptional. Bedrooms nice size and comfortable. Kitchen and living area large and easily accessible. Garage was a bonus room that would be great for the kids. Fenced back yard was nice for our furry friend. We had a great weekend visiting the 2 we had at Murray.

Gorgeous Home

Gorgeous home and well stocked with everything you might need or forget. Very convenient for families with dogs and kids. Julie and John were excellent hosts and very helpful. Comfy beds. Our only complaint is that we assumed that we would be able to walk to the lake from the house. The listing says, "across the street from Lake Barkley." That is accurate, but you cannot get to Lake Barkley without trespassing. You have to drive to another location. Not a big deal, but wish that was explained in the listing. All in all, we loved it and would come again.

Cadiz getaway

The property was tastefully decorated and immaculate with modern conveniences. The hosts John & Julie obviously take pride in providing a VRBO property in which you can relax and unwind. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood near Lake Barkley with a large deck and fenced in yard. Our heelers really enjoyed running around the yard and sunning themselves on the deck. There's plenty to do with the state parks, Lake Barkley, and Kentucky Lake nearby. My wife really enjoyed visiting the shops and the dogs had their noses to the ground at the state park. I had initial anxiety the first night with having intermittent service connection with T-Mobile but found that not receiving texts from work was actually really nice for the days we were there :). It was great to getaway from the cold of Northern IL and to have a chance to unplug and unwind from the daily grind. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a getaway near Cadiz/Lake Barkley.

Perfect Stay

On our way to South Carolina, this was the perfect stop along the way. Neighbors are friendly, perfect area to walk our dog. I recommend this peaceful piece of paradise.
