"We would have liked bigger towels for the other two adults rather than hand towels. There were no cleaning paper towels or cloths so I could clean properly. And I couldn't find a new liner to put it in the bin in the kitchen. The salt container was empty and no pepper. The sunflower oil bottle is almost empty. Thanks for letting us stay."

"Only thing I would recommend is if staying during winter season bring in all your food or plan to drive a bit for food."

Idéale pour vous plonger dans le passé, en 30mn pour visite au Mémorial de Caen et à peine 1h d’Omaha Beach (cimetière américain). Merci pour la flexibilité arrivée /départ. "Nicolle and her husband were extremely helpful, the property was clean and orderly and well equipped for my family of 5. There are several cafes close by and all the D Day memorials are easy driving distance. Board walk and evening market were nice. Excellent view of the water."

"Took my grandson to see Pegasus bridge, Caen Museum and the Normandy beaches. Perfect location. The house was very cosy, warm and with plenty of hot water for showers and a bath. Parking right outside the house. And with a boulangerie just 100 metres away too."

"A perfect little house in a great location. Quite small all round, but all two people & a dog need for a short break. V easy to reach all of the D Day beaches & key sites. Bikes are available to use & it’s only a short cycle to the boulangerie in the morning. We had fantastic weather, so made good use of the outside space also. Florence met us on arrival & is a wonderful host. Would most definitely recommend 😎"

"If you want to experience French Country living, look no further. This house has ripped right out if a novel. One piece of advice. You are in the country, so please do not expect high speed internet. The house is solid concrete, and although there is internet, not all rooms receive it. You are forced to truly unwind, which is a good thing now a days."

Les balades autour de Bernières ont été nombreuses, culturelles ou sportives, souvent gourmandes. Amoureux des livres vous serez comblés tant la bibliothèque d’Héloïse est fournie et laisse deviner l’amour de votre hôte pour la littérature. "This is a lovely property, near to the lovely marshes and beachesa, surrounded by walks and cycle tracks. Also close to the Merville Batterie and Pegasus Bridge. Well equipped, very clean, everything you need. Merci Celine!"
