"Don't waste your money on hotels. They just aren't worth it! You can have a cabin to yourself with everything you need. PLUS trails to walk,the clearest pool and bath house I've ever been in, located in the middle of whatever you want to do. And only about 1 hour away from the Quad Cities. I was able to shuttle my grandkids to ballgames and practices for the week, plus visit my other kids in the Quad Cities. Check in was exactly how the hosts described. And they lay it all out on how you need to leave the cabin at checkout."

"This is our second year booking these cabins. We spend time fishing on the river which is about 10 minutes away. We love the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The cabins have SO much room. The host is so accommodating and always available. We will be back next Memorial Day, if not sooner! "

"Cabin was clean and spacious. I had 6 teenage boys with me and we were comfortable. I used the loft and had some privacy. We explored the area by swimming at beaches, fishing, and rented a boat on Lake MacBride. I’d definitely go back. "

"Start with the good stuff:The stay was fabulous! The cabin was great. Checkin was super easy. Staff was friendly and helpful when we called for games. Wifi wasn't great but we could use our phones. However the not great wifi was shared prior to our visit and wasnt a necessity anyway. The cabin was clean. Pool was the winner! It was super close to the Chalet and perfect water temperature! The view from the chalet porch was wonderful. We enjoyed watching the groundhogs and lovingly named them Bobbie and Millie. Lol!Not great stuff(but not awful):The dining room table and chairs are super uncomfortable. The chairs are high and dont match the table so there is no place to really put your feet if youre a shorter person.There are no luggage racks or dressers/shelves to put clothes.The couch is seriously outdated and has lost color. Any comfort it had is gone.There were a great number of spiders in the cabin.There was only 1 towel in the kitchen so doing dishes and wiping things down properly was a no go.Overall we had a nice time. Our dog loved the place as well! Would stay again if we were in the area."
