"The property is in a fantastic position next to the beach. Views are brilliant. We stayed with our family of two grown up children and their partners. Although the property said it catered for six the top room was more suited to children rather than adults. Master bedroom was fantastic with views over the sea and with a sun lounge off the bedroom. We all enjoyed our stay with a well kitted out kitchen allowing us to self cater. Down stairs toilet an added bonus."

"A nice property - well located close to the beach. However, there were some issues which marred our visit - the Nest controlling the heating and hot water was faulty ( and wasn't replaced during our stay - the engineer hadn't visited before we left) so on occasions there was no hot water although we then found an immersion heater which we could use, the lock to the back doors didn't work with no key so we couldn't secure the property and until the lock was replaced we had to take our valuables...

"What an absolute gem of a property. Overlooking the sea, it was ideal. Sightings of seals in the morning was an added bonus. Parking can be tricky, but nothing that the owners don't convey. "The property had loads of character, the rooms were all as described and it was well stocked (bathrooms, toys, games/puzzles, kitchen etc) Was perfect for a family weekend getaway for 8 of us. Location was quiet, but we weren’t after a busy town/village on this occasion. Only downside was a slight smell of sewerage or possibly rodent urine in the upstairs bathroom that may be needs looking into. But overall a great stay and everyone enjoyed the property, thank you."

"Beautiful house, perfect for a large family gathering. Down sides: 2 main bedrooms don't have doors, so not ideal if some people want to stay up while others sleep. Biggest gripe; absolutely zero basic provisions (eg tea bags, coffee, milk, salt & pepper etc) which I think it's reasonable to expect at this price. Really not great having to do a half hour round trip to tescos after driving up from brighton, just so we could have a cup of tea on arrival. Feel that the excuse may be covid-related...

"This was the perfect place for a family get-together. All the bedrooms are lovely and the lounge/dining areas are perfect for such a large group. "We had a great one week stay at Carisbrooke, Steve and Maureen were fabulous hosts. "I stayed here as I was visiting an elderly friend who only lived across the street. The staff were all so friendly & very helpful, the housekeeping was also very good. I would definitely stay here again if I’m back in north walsham. There’s absolutely nothing I could fault about my stay here for the week."
