The hotel had a lot of olde-world charm, the staff were very friendly, we could park outside easily. The area around the hotel wasn't the greatest but no worries and we could walk to shops and restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay there again

Great stay and well located.

Lovely old fashioned hotel, we had the suite which was huge and would be ideal for a family. Only suggestion would be to have a fridge in the room but otherwise a great stay. Well located being almost next door to the railway station and just a short walk into the main town.

Very convenient location close to the station and bus depot in Calais. Within walking distance of the town centre. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The availability of secure parking was an attraction but it was also very safe to park on the street outside. Good value for an ivernight stay en route to the UK

Single traveller, very safe, clean hotel

Stayed here before and chose this time because I was travelling alone. Feels very safe. Very easy to find. Car parking undercover is payable but safe and secure. Only downside this time was a noise like something inside the walls, could have been plumbing, don't know.

Although there seemed to be only one gent alone looking after the hotel, he was kind enough to go and search in the store cupboards for us to find us a baby bed which we were supposed to have requested in advance. Secure garage was very useful, with the door remotely operated from reception. A bit tired, and perhaps not in the best area of Calais, but didn’t seem too bad. Perfectly functional if you need a stop off before the ferry.

Great service, spacious room and comfy beds

Very friendly receptionist, we arrived late at night but still all smiles and great service. Free public car parking just across the street, very nice and convenient. Quiet and clean neighbourhood. Comfortable beds and lots of space in the room with a sofa and chairs. A big plus for the water boiler and free coffee and tea. We did not have the breakfast but instead walked a few hundred metres into town and ate an affordable boulangerie.

The property was really good. There was a lovely charm about the hotel. The staff were lovely - very kind and helpful with the language. The location is great - just around the corner from the train station and very close to the city centre. All in all - and bearing in mind the price - really, really good.
