"We was booked in for 14 nights however only stayed for 2 .The location was good, the room and pool was clean and tidy.
Food at restaurant and good.
The major problem we had was than the reception would only take cash.
We had to get a taxi to take us to several atms to obtain enough cash for two nights.
As we would of had the do this for the next fortnight we decided to find a different hotel.
We wasted the first 3 days of our holiday because of this.
There was not indication that the hotel only...

"We recently stayed at the Ibis Calangute while in Goa for some very sad family business, and I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and its staff.
From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible during a difficult time. The standards set by the manager were clearly very high. He regularly took the time to greet us personally and check that everything was okay, and the team he led followed his example with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
One of the highlights of our stay was the buffet. The food was consistently excellent, with a great variety available each day. The head chef was often front of house, engaging with guests, explaining the dishes, and ensuring everyone was enjoying their meals. That personal touch made a real difference and showed how much pride the team takes in what they do.
Thank you to everyone at Ibis Calangute for your kindness, hospitality, and support during a challenging period for our family. You made a difficult trip much easier, and we are extremely grateful."
"A hidden gem!
This place is a beautiful oasis by the beach.
We stayed in one of the cottages, raised in the middle of the pristine gardens. Loved the traditional design of the wooden cottages, the lush, gardens, waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning, the swimming pool is lovely especially in the evening when it’s not too hot.
Special kudos to the Bongo beach shack, that marks the approach of the Little India to the beach. Here the staff really makes you feel home and well looked after! The food and drinks on offer are very delicious: we tried anything from breakfast omelettes, Indian breakfast, Indian food (highly recommend butter chicken and Korma). Also had grilled bomfret (butter and garlic) and it was epic. They have plenty of Indian and international food options, way beyond what you’d expect from a beach shack. In fact, having tried some of the nice high street restaurants, the Bongo’s quality was up there and beyond.
The beach has clean white sand, and is far enough from the chaos of Tito’s lane so it’s nice and relaxing.
Don’t get fooled by the appearance of the street leading to the hotel. You step from the chaos of the high street and through some run down buildings , but a slice of paradise is waiting for you at the end. I’d definitely come back again!"
"Unfortunately as there was a gas issue due to the war the breakfast was limited. There was no tea and coffee only thru the vending machine which was not the best. But still cannot complain as whatever was laid on the table was good"
