Villa 'Foz Fancy Fun' with Mountain View, Wi-Fi and Air Conditioning

We would like to welcome you to our Foz Fancy Family villa is fully equipped, has a big private swimming pool and situated within walking distance of the lagoon of Óbidos and the Atlantic ocean.

For (water)sport lovers, culture seekers, foodies or people who want peace and quiet; you can all find it here in Foz do Arelho on the Silvercoast (Costa Prata - Oeste) of Portugal.

The villa is surrounded by green and located in a piece full area.

The total indoor living space is about 250 square meters. You will find an open and bright living area, connected to the dining area which lead into the colourful fully equipped kitchen.

Other than the living room, dining area, tv area and kitchen, you will find on the ground floor 1 bedroom with bathroom and 1 suite with bathroom and walk in shower.

The ground floor living area and suite give entrance to the garden and swimming pool.

The garden is full of green and offers lots of privacy. Outside you will find the lounge set and dining table.

The pool is 5m to 12m and has various toys for the children.

There is also a trampoline and table tennis available.

In the basement has another living area and suite with bathroom and walk-in shower. 2 Separable beds and sofa couch for 2 people.

This second living area makes our villa super suitable for multiple families or friends who like to spend time together but love a little privacy.

On the first floor you’ll find our third suite with bathroom and bath/shower combination. Also there is access to the upstairs terrace where the bbq and a another outside dining area is located.

Additional amenities include high speed Wi-Fi with a dedicated workspace, a TV, washing machine as well as a dryer.

2 baby beds with linnen, changing sheet and 2 high chairs as well as some toys are available.

We have private parking space available on our property. Property is about 6000 square meters.

Relaxing holiday in beatiful house

We spent a vacation of 10 days with a group of friends in this house and loved both the locaton and activities around the area and also the time spent at the house itself, its pool area and garden. The hosts were extremly helpful and always there for any questions we had. I definetly recommend it!

Excellent

Big, cozy, new house very well equipped, ideal to enjoy with friends and family. Foz de Arelho is a charming little village to enjoy on the beach or in the lagoon and surrounded by small historic towns. Linda is charming and attentive to the details that facilitate your stay in a wonderful house.

Very clean Villa and very friendly host. However, the Villa was situated on dangerous hillside so access was not as expected. No safety mat in very slippery shower. No water on last day of stay which was unacceptable. No tin opener. Annoyingly damp beds. No dehumidifier on ground level. No scenery.

Fantastic villa break with family

We are just back from a one week break in June. The villa is excellent. Vary spacious and very well equipped. The swimming pool is a good size for swimming and the trampoline and table tennis table were great attractions for our family. There are lots of places inside and outside the villa to relax as a group or as individuals. Linda and Nuno were very helpful with tips on places to go and things to do and very responsive to any questions we had. The location is quiet and a little bit away from the village but not too far to walk or a short car journey (I would recommend having a car at this location to make the most of what is around). The only slight negative is that there is a smell of damp in some rooms. All in all we had a great holiday and a welcome break from COVID 19 in the UK. Thanks Linda and Nuno

A very lovely house, well located

A really lovely house which was well equipped. There are several different areas in and around the house where the family can gather It’s located in a quiet area equidistant from the beach and the small town (about a twenty minute walk to both). We really enjoyed using the bbq area on top of the house. There are several restaurants that can easily be walked to, of varying quality. Further afield there a lots of interesting trips that can be made. We visited the acquarium in Lisbon (about an hour away) which is fantastic. In the other direction Alcobaca (about 30km) is a lovely town with a beautiful old monastery in the centre which is well worth visiting. We went into Obidos which is interesting but very touristy. Would not recommend Peniche but the surfing looked fun. The lagoon of Obidos at Foz is lovely and the beach is clean. It’s also rather pleasant to go over to the other side at Covea do Musaranhos where there is cafe and beach where you can sit and contemplate the water...and sometimes flamingoes.

Fantastic villa and pool - perfect holiday.

The villa is really lovely - very spacious and well equipped. Only 5 in our party but wouldn't feel crowded with double that number. Fabulous pool, big compared to other villas we have stayed and deep enough for lots diving and jumping - perfect when holidaying with teenagers. The roof terrace has great views, and the veranda provides shade and cooler places to sit and eat. The villa feels extremely private and isolated but within 10 mins walk is a good bar and gelataria (Toa Toa) and 5 minutes further to a couple of good restaurants and small mini market - we ate a very good meal at Tibino . The Lagoa beach is 15 to 20 minutes walk and short drive to main Foz beach or Sao Martinho. Really easy 10 minute drive to all the big supermarkets on edge of Caldas - Aldi, Intermarche, E Leclerc, Lidl, etc. Communication with Vania was really easy and when we had a minor issue she responded extremely quickly. Lots of places to visit if you can bear to leave the villa -Alcobaca and Obidos are close and beautiful and interesting. We were lucky to be there for the brilliant medieval festival at Obidos which was very atmospheric. Highly recommended we had an amazing holiday - and hope to return before too long.

Fabulous getaway, fabulous villa!

The pictures really don't do this beautiful villa justice. It's simply stunning. It's well equipped with all the essentials and is placed in a semi-rural area of Foz do Arelho, just 20mins walk to the beach and a 5min drive to Caldas, where you'll find the main supermarkets and car rentals (should you need them). The rooms are exceptionally clean as are the gardens and lovely large pool. Linda and Nuno, our hosts, were brilliant and answered any queries we had, up to, during and after our holiday. Thank you to the both of you. We hope to visit again in the near future. Thank you so much for making our holiday peaceful and relaxing.

We stayed in this home for 6 nights with our family of 8 including 2 small children. The home was just what we were looking for and accommodated us nicely. It is very spacious and set up for large groups. We would recommend this none highly!! The host (Linda)was very accommodating and responded quickly during our whole process of booking to checking out!!

Beautiful villa

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Foz Fancy Fun. The villa is stunning - even better than the photos! We spent a lot of our time in the garden and pool. The upstairs bbq area was also a big hit! Rooms are tastefully decorated and have the most comfortable beds. Plentyof blankets and towels provided. The villa is equipped with everything you need. The host was easy to contact, shared recommendations and accommodated an early check in and check out. We travelled with a baby and Linda provided a travel cot, extra baby blankets and a high chair.The villa is situated near a village and the lagoon/beach. Lots of lovely restaurants on and around the lagoon and beach- highly recommend Cais da Praia for food and cocktails. We also found a wonderful tapas bar/restaurant in the village too- only a ten minute walk from the villa: Tibino Casa de Petiscos. Both are well worth a visit! We hired cars and spent the day in Sintra, about an hours drive- absolutely breathtaking. Caldas da Rainha is a ten minute drive (with plenty of free parking). You can easily spend a day here; lots of places to eat and a huge park with great scenic spots for those holidays snaps! Lots of supermarkets here too. Overall, a fantastic holiday! Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore Portugal. A huge thank you to Linda. An exceptional host.

Casa muito boa para famílias

Pros: A casa é muito confortável e tem tudo o que é preciso para fazer refeições. O Espaço é fantástico e muito agradável bem como a sua localização. A limpeza é excecional, além disso dispõe de um trampolim e mesa de ténis de mesa que para as crianças é óptimo.

Perfekte Villa für unsere doch gehobenen Ansprüche.

Pros: Linda hat uns bei der Ankunft sehr freundlich und pünktlich empfangen und in die Bedienung der wichtigsten Ausstattungen eingewiesen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Cons: Vielleicht sollte man mal die Messer nachschleifen, oder erneuern :-). Auch eine klappbare Glaswand bei der Badewanne im OG würden wir anstelle des Duschvorhangs bevorzugen. Dieser hat leider die Eigenart sich an den Körper zu haften.

Fantastisch!

Wij verbleven 2 weken in deze woning en zouden het zo weer doen. De foto’s doen het huis geen recht. Het is in het echt nog mooier en groter dan je zou denken. Linda is een engel. Ze staat altijd voor je klaar en het ontbreekt je aan niks. We kunnen deze accommodatie alleen maar aanraden.

Fantastisch!!

We hebben het fantastisch gehad. Wat een prachtig huis! Alles schoon, goed onderhouden, uitgebreide kook- en BBQ mogelijkheden, veel privacy doordat er meerdere badkamers waren. Het grote zwembad en loungesets waren top. Iedere maaltijd buiten gegeten. We wilden eigenlijk nooit meer weg ;-). En ook de hosts, Linda en haar man, bedankt voor de goede communicatie, de hulp en de verzorging. Een grote aanrader dit huis!

Férias em Família com cachorras

Casa com boas areas e excelente piscina e jardim. Boa privacidade sem ruído de trânsito , mas se tivesse os muros um pouco mais elevados dava mais privacidade e segurança. Limpeza impecável. Tudo a funcionar. Múltiplos locais de interesse perto. Boas praias. Sem dúvida a repetir.

Geweldig!!

Wat een geweldig huis, heerlijk zwembad. Fijne slaapkamers, goede locatie. Barbecue op t boven terras. Alles super schoon!Wij hebben ontzettend genoten. Dicht bij t strand, grote supermarkten op korte afstand rijden. Linda, heel erg bedankt!!

Vacaciones inolvidables

La casa es como muestran las fotos, no decepciona, más bien lo contrario. Es un lujo de casa, totalmente equipada, las estancias son muy grandes, los colchones son muy cómodos, las toallas de calidad, con toallas de baño y piscina y con un jardín muy cuidado y espacioso, ideal el juego y el recreo. La piscina es bastante grande, y también está muy cuidada, asi como las hamacas. Tiene complementos para entretenimiento como la mesa de pingpong o la cama elástica. También algun balón y tablas de bodyboard. Los porches muy acogedores y con varios ambientes. El mobiliario interior y exterior en perfecto estado. Cocina totalmente equipada y espaciosa. La terraza superior para hacer barbacoa y comer, es un lujo. Puedes pasarte una semana entera sin salir de casa y sin aburrirte. La playa esta genial y a solo 15-20 min a pie, con cuesta, eso si. Es una playa protegida del viento, grande y con servicios. Puedes ir andando al pueblo, en 10 min tienes supermercados, carnicería de calidad y algun sitio para comer y tomar algo. A pesar de hacer algo de viento, la casa está más protegida que otras por la ladera de árboles que tiene, es un mini bosquecillo. Pudimos aprovechar los distintos porches para protegernos del viento al comer. Linda y su marido, nos acogieron muy amablemente y fueron muy atentos en todo momento. Un placer para repetir!

Uitstekend verblijf in Foz do Arelho

Lekker ruime vakantievilla dichtbij het strand. Prachtig zwembad en trampoline scoorden hoog bij de kinderen. Nederlandstalige contactpersoon was zeer behulpzaam en goed bereikbaar.
