"Property is amazing and private. The beach access is great as well as the surf. WiFi was fast and much needed since the areas cell signal is abysmal. Roy was great with the check in process and making sure we were updated prior to arriving. Heads up, make sure you’ve got WhatsApp installed prior to arriving. Seems to be the best means of communication with the property. Plenty of restaurants and bodegas within walking distance. We’ll definitely stay again when we return to Santa Teresa."

Hotel Santa Teresa by the Beach

"Very nice, small and basic hotel so do not expect any special amenities (like gym) but there is a pool, which we used extensively. It’s is located very close to the beach in Carmen, restaurants and shops. They only serve breakfast there but it was good. Staff was amazing and very helpful (especially David, Luis and Astrid), there was a problem with AC but this issue was resolved promptly and professionally. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time in Santa Teresa by The Beach."

"Stayed in the Estrella room, it was beyond beautiful. Long scenic walk to the room, kitchenette, and filtered water in the full sized fridge. Staff was very kind and helpful, since the hotel was 6 hours from SJO we had to leave at 4 am and to our surprise there was a staff member there to assist with checkout. There are no key drop-boxes, so I was worried about how we were going to return it. Overall an amazing stay."

I love that I can never leave the resort but still have an amazing time after it rained the entire time my previous visit. "This is our Second time staying here. This time was an unexpected trip with no reservations made. Husband is handy capped and they were very professional and helpful in assistance of golf cart rides back and forth to car. Front Desk guys were very friendly and professional and very quick to reply via whatz app with any questions. Highly recommend the stay and ask for a water view! The view is beautiful! Rooms are always clean and the pool is amazing!"
