"Pros: We loved staying here, the house is spacious (enough room inside and out for the kids to play) and had everything we needed. Fernanda (host) was very friendly and kept in touch with info e.g. that some local roads would be closed for a day during our stay due to the Calheta rally. Lovely views and peaceful. The location is not very touristy, which we quite liked."

"Pros: Ruime woonruimte met tuin gedeeltelijk in de zon waardoor niet al te warm. Altijd parkeergelegenheid voor de deur. Haven met restaurants waar je elke avond voor weinig en veel keuze heerlijk kunt eten. Cons: Slaapkamer is beneden aan de straat/parkeerterrein waar ook werklieden met vrachtauto's en trekkers langskomen; dit leverde veel geluid op. Voor verblijf met >2 personen onhandige verdeling met badkamer toilet alleen bereikbaar via slaapkamer beneden."

"This property exceeded all our expectations! The house and outside space with negative edge pool were all beautiful. We loved being away from the crowded city and enjoying the peaceful beauty of Madeira. We arrived in the middle of the night. The 6 of us with luggage were driven comfortably by pre-arranged transport to the property about an hour away. We rented cars in nearby Calheta for the week the next day and dropped them at the airport when departing Madeira. Driving on the roads in Madeira...

"We enjoyed our stay at the house and the pool. It is spacious for two. The appartement is clean, beds are good and the bathroom is oke. Maybe some more towels hooks would be better if 4 persons are staying. The appartement has 2 bedrooms: one in the appartement and one which isaccessible via the conservatory/glass corridor although this is not mentioned in the advertisment. It took us 1.5 hours to find the second bedroom. We arrived around 10:00 PM, and by then it is dark. So we called Catia several times to ask her where the second bedroom was but could not reach her. It would have solved the problem at once if she could have told us by phone. The appartement has air conditioning that can cool and heat. In May is was still chilly so we used the airco in the living room but could not get it to a pleasant temperature. The conservatory is hot when the sun shines but does not heat up the appartement which I think is perfect in summer but not useful when chilly."
