"We had to make a last minute change of plans and our host was absolutely amazing to work with. She went above and beyond to help us get this house booked and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! The house was also so comfortable and clean and easy to get to. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had all the amenities that we needed. We were traveling with a toddler and it was a very safe place for children. I look forward to staying here again soon and recommend it highly!"

"City of Elberton refurbished the hotel in recent years. Excellent job! Spacious, updated and comfortable rooms. Not much to do on weekends as many businesses are closed or close early. Try Richards for a nice meal Mon-Sat"

"This is a historic inn with a lot of charm. The staff is fantastic. The location at the corner of the town square is ideal. It needs a little work with little things like paint, etc. but it is a very old inn. I will definitely stay there again."

"We had a great stay in early May at this lakefront property for our family of six (age 17 and up). The house was spacious, with a comfortable family room and dining area that made it easy for us to enjoy games and movies together. Our young adult kids had a great time on the water —fishing, kayaking, and canoeing (such a bonus to have the boats provided!). (Note: The backyard is sloped and has a good bit of underbrush leading to the water, so we found that closed-toes shoes were the best for navigating it.)One of our favorite features was the screened-in balcony porch. It was the perfect spot for relaxing mornings with coffee. And there were plenty of chairs so that we each had a spot. (Note: Though not specifically mentioned in the description at the time of our booking, this property is duplex-style…so the back deck seen in the photos is not part of the property.)We were also pleasantly surprised to find some thoughtful extras like binoculars for birdwatching (especially loved watching the woodpeckers!) and corn-hole for outdoor fun.We also enjoyed taking advantage of the guest passes to the recreation center, and spent a day there swimming in the pools, playing table tennis, and enjoying a jumbo hot pretzel. :) (Note: There was a 10 per person fee per day to use the facilities, with an extra fee for bowling.)The hosts…very communicative and accommodating (thanks, Paul!). We’d love to come back for a return stay!"

"The location for this rental was perfect. My father and I stayed here for a 4 day fishing trip and enjoyed it immensely. House was very clean and had great AC, but kitchen can be scarce so if you decide to do a lot of cooking I would bring what you need. The woods surrounding the property are gorgeous, I always enjoyed the walk down to the dock. I would note its a bit steep and some of the steps are loose so be careful. The dock is covered, all aluminum, and has power avalaible which made it perfect for our fishing boat, just mind the orb weevers. I reccomend this house to anyone doing a fishing trip on the Savannah, lots of great fishing right out in the cove, and very little boat traffic. "
