"The staff was very nice. There was a restaurant called the Windmill in the same parking lot that had delicious dinners. They serve large portions so you could definitely share a meal. The staff there was excellent. Very friendly. There was no hair dryer in the room. One of the front desk girls let me borrow a very old one for my stay. The room was large but could be better equipped no towel racks by the sink. There was a small area where you could hang up some clothes. It was in an area that had plenty of places to eat and get gas. We were there to visit Pinnacles National Park. It was fairly easy to get to the west side, but took awhile to go to the East side the next day."

"The Quail is a very nice hotel, but unless you're into golf, there's not much to see or do there. Carmel is about 15 minutes away by car, but if you just want to step outside the hotel and walk to nearby stores or attractions, there aren't any. The facilities and housekeeping were excellent - our only complaint is that the toilet was incredibly low-height - potentially a problem for people with creaky knees."

"Easy parking, nice spacious rooms, really comfortable beds, quiet! The pool area is nice and would be truly amazing if there were a spa/hot tub. The hotel has tea, coffee, water available throughout the day, with doughnuts in the AM but not until 8:30, which may be a little late for some travelers. The property is well-maintained and nicely located, with beautiful views of the mountains."

"Traveled with my husband and pup and this was a really nice and unique place to check out on our road trip. We really enjoyed the quiet location, the super comfortable bed (!!!) and the amenities on site, which we enjoyed using (hot tub, fire pit, grill - all worked great)! Really fun to be next to a sheep/goat pen and to watch the goat climb the tree! The road driving up to this location was insane though; very steep, twisty an narrow, but after doing it a few times, we got more comfortable with it. My only issue was that we had a bit of an ant problem in/around the refrigerator, and the can of bug spray on site was empty. We contacted the owner about it, but unfortunately it was also a holiday weekend and we know people were not as available (not a big deal and we connected later), but we ended up just dealing with it on our own...not a perfect solution and was a constant problem during the majority of our stay. Other than that, this rental was wonderful! Great view across a valley, quiet location, and a beautiful starry sky at night! Worth checking out, just remember, you are in an RV and sometimes bugs happen."
