Hotel Belvedere, Torre Dell'Orso

Melendugno

10/10 Excellent

I was a little apprehensive before arriving at Hotel Belvedere: the reviews were excellent, it wasn’t booked up and it was great value. It seemed almost too good to be true. I needn’t have worried. The staff were wonderful, the hotel is comfortable, spotless and has a cool 1960s Miami vibe, and it was indeed excellent value. Torre Dell’Orso is a beach town with a very good beach, a few decent pizzerias, bars and gelaterias. It’s a very convenient spot from which to explore Otranto, Gallipoli...

Beautiful place, staff so friendly especially the gentleman at the reception desk. Very clean, beautiful breakfast with great choices. Impressive building inside and out. Very relaxing,i spent a lovely afternoon at the pool. The only thing slightly disappointing was that the indoor pool was closed for maintenance,I would have loved to see it as it looked so nice on the website. But hey that was just bad timing. Would stay here again for sure
