Escape to Wine County in your independant Cottage in Downtown Calistoga

A traditional take on wine country style, each cottage enjoys vaulted ceiling, deep soaking tub with mineral salts, fireplace, reclaimed hardwood floors and a semi-private outdoor porch opening out to the gardens. Perfect for a secluded getaway, the cottages are nestled in a grove of Elm trees for privacy. Cottage Grove Inn is just a short stroll to Calistoga's downtown restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and galleries.


7-Day Cancellation Policy: The first night of your stay is charged to your credit card at the time of reservation. The balance is posted on your arrival date, and any outstanding balance is due at check-out. Your reservation is guaranteed by your first night's deposit and secured by your credit card on file.

You have 7 days prior to arrival to cancel or change any dates of your reservation. Outside of 7 days, you may cancel or change the dates of your reservation, for any reason, for a handling fee of $50 and the remaining deposit will be refunded to you. If you cancel or change dates within the 7 days prior to your arrival, your first night's deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations within 24hrs of arrival forfeit their entire reservation. There are no exceptions.

Additionally, there will be not be any refunds for early departures or unused portions of your reservation or packages you may have booked through us. We adhere to this policy without exception. If you must cancel your reservation, please call us right away at 800-799-2284. Reservations are not considered canceled until you receive a cancellation number from Cottage Grove Inn. Thank you.

Lovely stay…highly recommend

We stayed here for two nights. It was unseasonably hot so we spent more time in our room than usual and it was so comfortable, loved the filtered water, no complaints. Breakfast was ok - allowed us to get started for the day. It was our first trip to Napa valley and so glad we stayed in Calistoga - small, quiet and quaint. Nice contrast to the town of Napa.

Such a nice surprise. This is a beautiful setting on the outskirts of Calistoga. My sister and I enjoyed our stay, and my two dogs were comfortable, too. The onsite manager did all she could to make our stay pleasant. The rooms are lovely as well.

Quaint Retreat

We loved our stay! This property was perfect for our small getaway. The bed and pillows were AMAZINGLY comfortable and kept us asking how we could get them at home. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and breakfast at the office each morning. Our favorite thing was sitting on the patio with coffee or wine and walking downtown, which was such a short distance away. We will be staying again!

Great Time!

We came to Calistoga to attend and wedding. I found the Cottages on VRBO and I am so happy that I did. We found the space great for the two of us. We were able to walk to the main street. The host communicated well. We enjoyed our stay! We will be back.

We loved our stay here! They had thought of all the details to welcoming us with our pet (dog) It was so convenient to do all the fun things in town and access the wineries. Quiet, clean and very friendly.

Lili was awesome! We received a pre-call letting us know our room was ready and was delightful. The Cottages were a bit dated and could use a decor, shower/bath and TV refresh - but we really enjoyed our stay!

Buyer beware—THIS IS A MOTEL! This venue is advertised as an “independent country cottage, but it’s not a home or condo rental by owner. Moreover, while the VRBO overview of the property says it is pet friendly, what it doesn’t say is that each dog, which must weigh less than 50 lbs, will be charged 50/night/pet. We have two small dogs, one that weighs 20 lbs and one that weighs 8 lbs. We were charged an extra 200 for a two night stay! This is outrageous. Patrons should at least be informed ahead of time of the cost involved for bringing their pets. Other than this, the “motel room” was clean and cute, even if it lacked a regular sized refrigerator, a microwave oven, a hot plate, and a few other generally standard features of a normal VRBO offering. This property is simply misrepresented.
