Really nice! Big, clean, airy, comfortable room and bed with nice deck overlooking the mountains. Quiet, great sleep. Super staff, excellent breakfast, lovely common areas and beautiful grounds. Happily accomodated my touring bicycle. Just first rate. Stay here.
The staff are amazing here and really helpful. I would definitely recommend this Hotel, its in a lovely setting and.close enough to walk to Restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, cant fault this Hotel. Its a gem.
We arrived on Xmas day and the restaurants in Calitzdorp were closed. On check-in, we were presented with a delicious cold platter of cold cuts & cheeses, home-baked bread and other little delicacies for dinner. This kind of thoughtfulness is what sets the Queen of Calitzdorp apart. Thank you for Leanne and your staff!
We had a short but wonderful stay at "Queen of Calitzdorp". We got an upgrade and had the room with the probably best view of the mountains. The rooms are very well-equipped, the pool area is super nice and the garden has lovely flowers smelling wonderfully. The breakfast is freshly made according to your wishes- simply fantastic! Absolutely recommendable...

Comfortable stopover in Calitzdorp
Second visit to Queen of Calitzdorp and still a gem! If possible ask for one of the rooms facing the mountains for a lovely view. Excellent breakfast served.
The Soa is just 15 minutes away out if town. The Rose of the Karoo was great for supper and we enjoyed wine and port tastings at the wine cellars in town. The Queen of Calitzdorp was a perfect base. Clean, excellent service, nice breakfast and beautiful place to stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Loved the cleanliness and the decor in our room was very impressive. The beds were divine and we were very well received.
