"There's a lot of potential with this hotel but it leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast though it looked extensive and offered a lot, there was not much flavour in the pad thai or the ribs or the rice. I was very surprised by this. The building itself needs an upgrade. Particularly the water system. The water was often lukewarm and sometimes warm enough but that's about it. So even though I had a gorgeous panaromic view, I couldn't get in to a hot bath at the end of the day. The air con also left a lot to be desired. The team were great at trying to fix it and have a look but there wasn't much to be done. I got used to the temp after 3 days luckily but the first two nights weren't great. I was advised to close my curtains in the day time to balance the heat, but that sort of defeats the purpose of paying for the view. Many hotels I've stayed in have direct sunlight but the aircon is so efficient you wouldn't even know. The rooftop bar was also great in terms of the view, the cocktails and the staff are nice also. The swimming pool is also the biggest and best for swimming i've experienced in a hotel in terms of exercise. "

"Very nice property in a great location. Just a couple of blocks away from the beach and just a block and a half away from Bangla Road. The breakfast buffet was nice, as well as the rooftop restaurant. We had a swim up room which was great. The pool bar was fantastic. The staff was helpful and friendly. Most knew English. "
