"A great apartment on the edge of the old town. Fab views of the sea and of the local area - great for people watching. Good size living / kitchen area with well appointed cooking area. "It’s a lovely resort with excellent facilities, but there were aspects of our stay that didn’t live up to expectations. We were staying in a Preferred Club townhouse. A really nice property, but barely any wi-fi which caused some problems. Ok, we’re on holiday but you should expect decent wi-fi. There were also some service issues. The staff were all working hard and they were always friendly, but they were understaffed in parts of the resort which meant slow service. Contrast that with the à la carte restaurants where we were rushed through in no time. You barely had any time to finish a course before the next one arrived! My wife had someone clicking their fingers at them to encourage her to speed up! That’s unacceptable. It’s a shame as the resort has all the ingredients to be a truly 5 star resort. The location is great, the facilities impressive and the food and drink overall was very good. Hopefully Hyatt will invest and deal with some of these issues. It’s the details that matter."

"Grand appartement deux chambres et deux salle de bain parfait pour un séjour prolongé à 4 adultes. Immense galerie et installations (piscines, jeux, jardins) très invitants. Personnel très convivial. Vue imprenable. Il faut toutefois aimer gravir et redescendre les routes du sommet du cabot girao pour toutes les sorties sur l’île. Situé à 3 min à pieds du fameux promontoire du Cabot girao."

"Lovely boutique hotel nestled in a little bay of Camara de Lobos. Our initial flight from London was cancelled so we arrived a day and a half later than anticipated and when we called to inform the hotel they were so helpful, held the room for us and ensured they had 24/7 reception so we were able to check-in fairly late. They had a welcome present for us in the room as well (that might be because we booked through hotels.com VIP though). The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. There's no parking, but nearby street parking and a large lot that costs about 8Eur a day. The hotel is in a tiny alleyway though so once you see it the lack of parking makes sense. Good breakfast spread and the rooftop pool looks nice, albeit it's a bit small. There's AC in the room, but it's not the strongest. Overall a great stay, has been our preferred hotel to some of the larger resort style hotels we've stayed in elsewhere on the island. Would definitely go back!"
