Geweldige vakantie!

We hebben twee geweldige weken doorgebracht in dit fijne en bijzondere huis. Bruno is erg aardig en was altijd bereid een vraag te beantwoorden of een tip te geven. De locatie is perfect als uitvalsbasis voor veel verschillende soorten uitstapjes. En als het erg warm was, was er een airco en een zwembad! De oprijlaan is steil, gelukkig is er iets verderop nog een minder steile opgang.

Au cœur du Périgord noir mais à l’écart des foules, nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la maison du sympathique Bruno, qu’il a retapé lui-même avec beaucoup de passion. Si vous aimez les vieilles pierres et les poutres apparentes, les planchers qui grincent un peu, cet endroit est pour vous. En renvanche si vous voulez du neuf, du lisse, du conforme, ne venez pas dans cette belle région 😉. Vos enfants vont adorer les petits chats qui s’amusent sur la propriété et la grande piscine très bien entretenue. La nuit le silence est absolu, nous autres citadins n’en reviennent pas …

Ce séjour nous a permis de nous reposer dans cadre parfait. Notre hôte a été d'une grande prévenance et très disponible. Le logement est très bien situé au cœur d'une région riche en tous points de vue : préhistoire, historie gastronomie, géologie, activités sportives... En bref un séjour parfait !

Manque d hygiene et de propreté, attention à la sécurité des enfants (électricité non conforme..

Fuyez... vous ferez comme le spa du 1er étage vers la chambre du dessous . Manque d hygiene et de propreté, attention à la sécurité des enfants (électricité non conforme.. Le linge neuf n avait pas été lavé... une couette avec traces d urine .... et des sanitaires qui n ont pas été nettoyés avant notre arrivée... et surtout le spa du 1er étage qui fait abondamment sur la chambre du dessous mais aussi sur les circuits électriques ... et une installation électrique dangereuse (fil apparent, connections bricolées.... et un manque de reconnaissance de la situation de la part du propriétaire qui , sans cela serait accueillant ... mais bon, pour un séjour à plus de 2000 euros la semaine, ça fait plus cabanne que logement haut de gamme .

Sprookjesplek in de dordogne

Het terrein van Bruno is een prachtig ruw stuk natuur waar hij twee authentieke huizen op een sprookjesachtige manier heeft gerestaureerd. Hij is een kunstenaar en dat is terug te zien in hoeveel aandacht hij heeft besteed aan de vormgeving. In het ene huis woont hij zelf en het andere huis wordt verhuurd. Het huis is in alle gemakken voorzien (de airco is heel fijn op de echt hete dagen) en beschikt over twee terrassen, waar je kunt genieten van of schuilen voor de zon. Er is een ruim verwarmd opzet zwembad aan de achterkant van het huis, waar je zelfs een beetje baantjes in kunt trekken. Het huis ligt vlakbij verschillende dorpen waar je zowel uitgebreid boodschappen kunt doen, als waar het leuk is om rond te kijken. Je kunt overal kanoën, grotten en musea over de prehistorie bezoeken. Ook zijn er veel restaurantjes in de omgeving te vinden. Normaal gesproken zouden wij het zelf niet zo prettig vinden dat de eigenaar vlakbij op het zelfde terrein leeft, maar in het geval van Bruno, een buitengewoon vriendelijke man, was het helemaal prima en juist verrijkend. Dit vakantiehuis is een absolute aanrader!
