  • Ski right to the Hawk chair from this bright 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo at Mountainside Lodge on Mt Washington. Sleeps up to 6, with a cozy fireplace, a sauna in the building (level 1), a full kitchen, an in-suite washer and dryer, and Wi-Fi plus Ethernet for remote work.

    You'll have the entire condo to yourselves. Check-in is self-serve with a lockbox on the man door entering the parking garage; the code is sent 24-48 hours before arrival. Parking is in spot 301 and skis go in locker 31. Take the elevator to floor 3.

    Mountain roads can be snowy in winter, so please carry chains or use proper winter tires as required on the Strathcona Parkway. Courtenay and the Comox Valley are about 30-40 minutes down the hill.

If you are visiting Mt Washington in the summer this apartment is well worth the money. It is near to the ski lift with walks up or down the mountain and near to The Meadows with easier hikes of different lengths. The cafe is open during the day too. The apartment suited our family of three, with two bathrooms and washer/dryer facilities. Car parking is super easy too, the apartment has one space allotted in the basement car park.

This is a well appointed unit with everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Cleanliness was immaculate, kitchen contained a multitude of pots pans and dishes. 2 beds and pullout couch were very comfortable. Best thing was the stunning view of the surrounding mountains which we enjoyed sunsets from our perch in the sky. There are beautiful hiking trails just a short walk from the apartment, we loved the Forbidden Plateau and Helen Mackenzie Lake. Just a 15 minute drive down the mountain puts you in the Comox area, but Campbell River is a little up the road. Would definitely stay again.
