"Stayed here to be super close to a venue we were visiting. Overall it did the job, and we’ll stay here again just because of the proximity to said venue. Not bad for the price per night!"

"Incredible boutique hotel! We will be using The chandler as our go to hotel. Incredible furnishings, amenities, and don’t forget to check out their wine and bowling bar. Gorgeous design and love all of their wines plus liquor! Very quaint hotel and town! "

"Parking was easy. It was nice and quiet. I only saw a staff person upon check in, but didn't need anything so that was okay. Breakfast was minimal.
The decor is outdated and leaves a lot to be desired, but I wasn't too bothered by that. Things were very clean."

Hillcrest Motel By OYO Aurora IN Near Lawrenceburg
2/10 Terrible
"The bed sheets were dirty and even had hair in them my original room I could not have cause it had a water leak in the floor of some sort. Then two days after I’m in the second room I wake up in the morning to water all over the floor. I told front desk and left for 12 hours when I came back there was no change. I checked out immediately and forfited the money I had already paid for the rest of the week. No rembursment. Bad experience "
"A/C/heat was noisy. Room smelled like musty smoke and a big burn hole in the middle of the comforter confirmed that someone had been smoking. For the price (compared to other hotels in the area) we put up with it. Two drunk men in the hallway loudly talking from midnight to about 3 am didn't help the atmosphere. "
"The rooms and commons areas are clean, though there is a stale smell throughout the hotel, that is covered by disinfectant and cleaners. The hotel is nice for the price and I stay at least once a year, but the property is very dated. The balconies are probably the chief selling point, giving a great view of the Ohio River valley.
The breakfast is what you'd expect from a $100 per night hotel - bagels, toast, cold cereal, waffle-maker, and pre-cooked eggs and sausage.
The front desk staff is friendly, but the property is managed by camera - there are security cameras everywhere and the management/owners are not very friendly (I've had 2 separate interactions with them).
All-in-all, I'd say if you have limited funds and want a clean, comfortable room, this is a decent place to stay."
"Mattresses are in bad shape, so worn you roll to the middle. Never saw a staff member at The Lodge other than check in at main hotel whom was very pleasant and accommodating. Place just looks tired inside but was very quiet in The Lodge which I appreciate for a hotel. "
