"Overall, we had a wonderful experience at The Otter Hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which really set the tone from the moment we arrived. Our mountainside room had gorgeous views, and the hot tub area was a highlight. It’s well maintained, clean, and the mountain backdrop makes it feel extra special after a day of exploring Banff. The on-site restaurant has great reviews and looked fantastic, but the hours were a bit limited during our stay, so we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. The hotel’s location is at the end of Banff Ave, about a 1 km walk to the downtown area, however guests are provided with a complimentary 3-day bus pass, which is extremely convenient. Route 1, the main route along Banff Avenue, stops right outside the hotel, making it easy to get around without a car. We would absolutely recommend The Otter Hotel and would happily stay here again."

"The front desk staff really went above and beyond . We loved the room and the fireplace that you could set the timer too. The amenities also made it feel like a luxurious stay. It was also a great location downtown and had two options for the ski bus. "
