The Rural House "LA HERRERÍA" combines the traditional with a modern look that ensures an unforgettable stay and the desire to visit us again.

This house is located in the Plaza Mayor of the town of Canalejas de Peñafiel on the Ribera del Duero, 9 km from Peñafiel near SEGOVIA,. It is a cozy stone house with two floors and a loft, has nice views from the balcony and the windows on the square, the church, the nearby streets and the oldest and most original part of the town.

The house has three floors:

- Four bedrooms: three of them with a double bed, a double bedroom and a large attic with three beds and one of them extra; It has a playground and rest area.
- Three fully equipped bathrooms on each floor.
- Large living room in which the original wooden beams of the house have been discovered. The furniture is Castilian style, and highlights the table that has been made with a trillo covered by a glass.
- Kitchen with kitchenware, hob, coffee maker, toaster, electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, juicer, extractor hood, etc.
-Patio with barbecue
-Winery: In Canalejas it is typical to keep the wine once made in these wineries in which a constant temperature is maintained throughout the year.
This town enjoys a fish shop, butcher shop where you can order the famous typical lamb from our area, two bars - restaurants that serve meals on request - they highlight the rice with Lobster, poultry, cod, monkfish, rabbit, etc. They can also enjoy the sport since the town has paddle, pediment, basketball, tennis, soccer
and several hiking trails.

Excelente casa rural, y con mucho encanto.

Estuvimos toda la familia, 8 personas, y aún había capacidad para algunos más. La casa rural la Herrería es fantástica. Muy acogedora, tanto en verano, como en invierno. Un sitio ideal para conocer y disfrutar en familia o con amigos, y muy cerca del núcleo de la Rivera del Duero. Totalmente recomendable. Su dueño, Daniel Vega, un magnífico anfitrión.

Bastante bien en general

Buen trato, en buen estado de conservación del mobiliario. Buena calefacción y estufa. Buenas camas y sabanas. En definitiva es una casa para grupos de alrededor de 10 personas, que esta bastante agradable

perfecta escapada de fin de semana

Perfecta escapada de fin de semana con amigos y niños!, la casa de tres pisos impecable, limpia, no le faltaba un detalle 5 habitaciones espaciosas en el centro del pueblo con un bar justo en frente. El dueño, Daniel, amable, y dispuesto a indicarte lo mas atractivo de la zona, nos gestionó la visita y cata a la Bodega de Briego. La verdad, no hemos podido estar mejor!! muchas gracias Daniel por tu calurosa acogida y trato tan amable, hasta siempre!

100 % Recomendable

Viendo las demás opiniones, no quisiera ser repetitiva, pero es mas de los mismo. Pasamos 7 amigas Segovianas el fin de semana del 2 de octubre y fenomenal, a la casa no le falta de nada, cómoda, amplia, completa, decorada con gusto y cariño respetando la esencia de los rústico. La cercanía a Peñafiel la hace mas interesante aun, y Daniel,... que decir del Propietario, es una persona entrañable que nos encantó, besos Daniel, no pierdas esa amabilidad y esa sonrisa nunca.

Somos un grupo de amigos que nos gustan mucho las casas rurales y en esta ocasión hemos encontrado un alojamiento muy acogedor y una muy buena calidad humana. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario para hacer vida dentro y fuera de la casa con su barbacoa y las habitaciones tan amplias y su acogedra bohardila ,en el pueblo se pueden encargar para comer sus platos tipicos como son el lechazo ymas…..El trato de Daniel y Marisa fueron de lo mejor y un recibimiento excepcional ,fueron muy atentos con nosotros.Tiene el alojamiento muy limpio y equipado no falta detalle.Os recomendamos las visitas que os proponen los dueños,los paseos por el campo y para no faltar la visita a Peñafiel y sus bodegas ,seguro que repetiremos y la recomendamos .No dejeis de visitarla .reconmedabel 100%

FIN DE SEMANA CON MIS AMIGOS

A nuestra llegada nos recibio el dueño,por cierto un tio muy majo . La casa es amplia con cinco domitorios, uno de ellos en la bohardilla , todos reunen magnificas condiciones para el descanso . Las comidas las disfrutamos en el amplio comedor que posee unamesa grande y muy original , nos gusto mucho el patio que es muy practico con su correspondiente barbacoa y mibiliario . El pueblo es pequeño , pero pintoresco y acogedor con unas gentes muy sencillas.

Una casa estupenda

Estuvimos alojadas 9 personas y nuestros perros en esta casa, y nos ha resultado comodidisma, muy limpia y con todo lo que necesitabamos . El equipamiento es muy completo (hasta mantel de tela que daba cosa manchar) ,y los dueños un encanto, todo facilidades. En directo es aun mas bonita que en fotos A pesar de que empezaba el frio , nos habian encendido al calefaccion con tiempo y la casa es muy calentita Solo estuvimos una noche y no nos dio tiempo a disfrutar de todos sus rincones, la mesa camilla con sus juegos de mesa, o el estupendo patio con la barbacoa La mesa de salon invita a buenas sobremesas. En resumen una casa muy recomendable

casa con encanto

Estuvimos un fin de semana un grupo de amigos y la casa nos encanto, el pueblo tiene todos los servicios que son necesarios para pasar el fin de semana. Las habitaciones son muy ampias y comodas, la limpieza excelente,con una barbacoa en el patio genial y una buhardilla de ensueño Yo de nota la pongo un 10 o mas

Viajar con niños

Hemos viajado tres parejas con niños y tanto el pueblo como la casa nos ha encantado. Hemos paseado y visitado Peñafiel y los peques se lo han pasado genial jugando en la plaza y en el parque. La atención de los dueños ha sido correcta y los vecinos también han sido muy amables. También en el bar Casa Aurelio nos han facilitado mucho las cosas. Allí, se puede comer desde unas raciones, a su famoso bacalo, además de arroz con bogavante que a los niños les ha encantado. Ah! El domingo si hay suerte hacen calamares a la romana.

Una muy buena elección

Siempre que voy a ir a una casa rural, miro antes los comentarios de las personas que han pasado antes por ella. En el caso de La Herrería me sorprendió que todos fueran muy positivos. Y la verdad es que cuando estás allí y pasas unos días en ella te das cuenta de que es así, de que todos coincidimos y por algo será. Fuimos un grupo de 9 amigos y estuvimos muy a gusto. Espacio suficiente tanto en las habitaciones como en el salón. Habitaciones muy grandes y el ático es encantador y acogedor. Decoración muy bonita, agradable y con el toque rural adecuado sin perder por ello nada de comodidad. Perfecta la calefacción y si hace un buen día la barbacoa y el patio son más que adecuados. Tranquilidad a la hora de dormir. Comodidad en la estancia (tiene de todo lo que se puede necesitar) y amabilidad del dueño que siempre es de agradecer. Ideal para ir en grupo y muy cerca de Peñafiel donde es obligado la visita a alguna bodega de la zona de Ribera del Duero. Así que salimos todos muy contentos. Sin duda una muy buena elección.

No os equivocareis.

Somos un grupo de Zaragoza que hemos pasado la Semana Santa en esta casa. Decir que todo ha sido perfecto, la casa es realmente rural, decorada con mucho gusto (Muebles antiguos, aperos y herramientas, vigas de madera en el techo, etc.), los dueños amables y siempre a disposición si hay algún problema. La ubicación del pueblo, muy tranquilo, permite moverse por las provincias de Segovia y Valladolid para hacer rutas turísticas sin hacer muchos kilómetros. En fin, que como titulo mi opinión, no os equivocareis si elegis esta casa.

Despedida de soltero en La Herrería

Acabamos de pasar un fin de semana en La Herrería por la Despedida de Soltero de un amigo, y sólo podemos agradecer a Daniel, su propietario, el amable trato que hemos recibido y lo bien que lo hemos pasado en su casa (cuidada hasta el más mínimo detalle). Hemos ido a varias casas rurales, y tengo que decir que, vayáis solos o con vuestras mujeres/niños, pocas casas encontraréis que os resulten más cómodas y acogedoras. Mención especial merece el cordero que nos prepararon en la carnicería del pueblo (recomendación, también, de La Herrería), y que nos acercaron puntualmente a la hora de comer en sus correpondientes platos de barro. De matrícula (por calidad y por precio). Muy recomendable, también, visitar alguna bodega de la zona. Lo dicho, enhorabuena a Daniel (y, en su caso, a las demás personas que se encarguen del mantenimiento de la casa), y muchas gracias otra vez por la estancia. ¡Raro será que no volvamos!
