Check in starts at 3 PM, our flight landed at 3:30 PM and we were notified by property manager that our room wouldn't be ready for a few hours after (had never been cleaned). We were allowed access to the room and to place our suitcases there. Overall, the property is severely run down and the owners could invest some money into facillities. There was loud music several nights that made it hard for my kids to sleep also. The good points were that it was 3 legitimate bedrooms, with 2 and a half baths, and cooking facilities. I liked the location also. The property manager was quick to respond to requests and made immediate ammends to lack of towels, and things of that nature. The views were great also. One note of a different subject for Cancun - don't waste money on cabs. The city buses cost 12 pesos per person and run 24 hours and go up and down the hotel zone. I don't think I ever waited more than 3 minutes.
