Excellent hotel with very clean rooms and friendly staff. Location was brilliant, just a short walk to the train station, beach and restaurants and shops. The air conditioner didn’t work properly so the room got pretty warm at times but was over during the night.

Hotel is in a great location for exploring Cannes, all main areas in short walking distance and only 1 street back from La croisette / beach. Lovely welcome by friendly receptionist and helpful when needed any information. Very clean and well equipped, everything you need for your stay

Amazing location, this is precisely what you are paying for. not the friendliest of staff. room is rather small, but enough for a short stay, especially as we didn't spend time in the room at all.

I absolutely loved my stay. The location is so perfect your right in the middle and close to the beach. Cannes is so great and being in the center I didn’t have to use any public transportation because it’s so close to the train station. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The place is super clean and they have everything you need. Loved my stay.

The hotel looks clean but not luxury. It seems like it was renovated though. Staff were very accommodating and nice. Breakfast was simple but high quality. Location is perfect. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is fine, but our room was quite dated with old carpet and furnishings not in line with the appearance of the lobby area. The bathroom, while updated, was very tiny. Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work well at all, which made for a warm night of sleeping. As a result, the overall experience was mediocre.

We take the opportunity to inform you that all rooms were renovated less that 5 year’s ago in order to be in line with the lobby area (similar color’s) along with an anti allergic carpet. Our air-conditioning is normally working fine but sure to have it working correctly, windows are to be kept closed and a card has to be in the electric box otherwise it cut’s off automatically after a few minutes (doing our best to be eco-friendly). Refrigerator didn't function and I had some medicine to keep and nobody care. They don't changed, repaired or help me to take care of my medicine. A lot of money lost but more importantly, I lost my medicine and ruined my holiday.

We inform you that due to the Covid 19 we have currently taken away all drinks from the minibar in all rooms but if needed our guests can of course use the minibar for other purpose over their stay. We are sorry that the one in your room did not seem to be working correctly but most of all we are sorry that you feel that nobody cared about this. Upon request at the Front Desk we could have kept your medicine in the refrigerator on the ground level.

We loved our stay at Hotel America! The location is perfect - right at the heart of everything! The room was lovely - clean and very comfortable. Excellent bed and shower! We’d definitely stay here again. And the team at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful!

The hotel was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent well positioned between the station (your likely method of arrival) and the sea front and everything is within easy walking distance. The only thing was that the room we selected was a little on the small side and the bathroom configuration tight, especially with the door. Overall though we would certainly stay again but would try to book a superior rather than a classic room.
