Welcome to the Sandcastle Inn – now under our management! A perfect destination for comfort, convenience, and affordability in beautiful Cannon Beach. Centrally located between downtown and midtown, and just one block from the beach, the Sandcastle Inn will soon become your favorite beach getaway.

Sandcastle #602 is a ground level, 1-bedroom apartment with room for 4. A traditional queen bed is in the separate bedroom, with the genius addition of a Murphy bed in the spacious front room, perfect so friends or kids can join you on your beach vacation. When the Murphy bed is put up, you'll have room to spread out and read the papers, catch the news on the new flatscreen smart TV or browse your favorite websites thanks to the cable and WIFI service.

The full kitchen is small, but well-stocked and equipped to perk coffee or make a sack lunch before you head into town or out to the beach. Save your appetite for a delicious dinner in midtown or downtown if you don't want to cook – so many restaurants are an easy walk away. Enjoy the best of both worlds – dining in and enjoying your favorite beverage and book on the patio, and the next day, head into town for some amazing seafood and sightseeing.

The separate bedroom offers seclusion from the group and a charming reading nook in the bay window. A perfect escape for a little quiet time. And after a salty day outdoors, you'll appreciate the option for a soak in the tub/shower combo. If you like to take your coffee or adult beverage al fresco, your south-facing private patio has a little more room to spread out!

Leave the car and hit the street – you're right between downtown's galleries, shops and restaurants and midtown's excellent dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Or you can cross the road and head to the beach, just a short stroll over the sands to Haystack Rock.

With everything you need close to hand, Sandcastle #602 is the easy and comfortable way to slip away to the coast for a well-deserved and well-earned break. And you're welcome to bring your best friend - the Sandcastle Inn is dog friendly!

Great central location

This is a prime location and quieter than you would expect at night. An easy walk to the dunes and beach. Place was clean and well-equipped and parking easy.

Perfect location

We had an excellent stay at the sandcastle inn. It was clean and the check in was very easy. The location is perfectly situated between the two main areas of town, so everything was walking distance. I would definitely stay here again!

No complaints, except single bedroom’s Queen mattress was uncomfortable. Quiet and close to beach and kids loved the hidden Murphy bed. Management company was super great to work with.

Perfect location just one block from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and shops. A little small for the 4 of us but 4th guest joined us last minute. Perfect for a few days. Would have wanted more space if staying longer.

This was a good location and a good unit for a short stay. Had small kitchen with supplies. Very clean. Longer stay would have been more difficult without closets of any kind and also no laundry at complex.I asked if a hose could be brought to the complex so I could rinse my dog after being at the beach but they never got back to me.I found a dog wash station next to the Surf Sand which was very lovely with warm water but not always convenient.

My husband did not realize this was a pet friendly room. Upon walking in we were hit by the smell of strong urine and 'wet dog' smell. Even though the room looked clean when we pulled down the murphy bed the mattress side was covered in urine multiple urine strains and there was feces behind main entrance door. I suffer with migraines and part of the triggers is strong smells like this. Very dissappointing! We left on the next morning.

Great place to stay

This was a great place to stay -- just a short walk to the beach and the shops/restaurants. It had all we needed for our short stay. The murphy bed was not very comfortable - wouldn't have wanted to sleep on it more than one night. The main bed in the separate bedroom was fine. Local whole bean coffee was a nice treat!

Good overnighter

Well cared for though older interior. Grateful for the cleanliness! Found all the stuff we needed to prep our simple meals. Wifi worked for a video call meeting. Wish the couch had been longer for our fourth family member since my adult kids didn't want to share the Murphy bed.
