A great hotel and central location. Reception and communal areas were spotless pool area was fantastic. Rooms very clean and towels changed every day, but they are a little dated. Overall top class

Staff were great however our initial room was in a seperate unit about 1/2 km away so we switched and upgraded The unit was okay but the fridge kept leaking water on the floor and twice we asked for earlier room service before 2 pm and it did not happen

Pestana Palm Gardens
Location was lovely, you definitely need a couple of days here. We came in at night and left at checkout (11am). Didn’t get to enjoy any ammenities. The beach at the bottom of the cliff is lovely.

Placid Village
The place was far from any decent grocery store, they gave us a room for someone who is in a wheelchair, the bathroom was also meant for someone in a wheelchair, terrible to assume this suited our needs.
