We welcome you to this pleasant 100m² family home, situated in a residential estate set in a bucolic setting with plenty of green spaces.
The house comprises an entrance hall, a cosy living/dining room, a fully equipped separate kitchen, a utility room, three bedrooms including a master bedroom, two shower/bathrooms each with a toilet, and a garden. It also has three private parking spaces. Just 5 minutes from the EQUI-NORMANDIE centre, a mecca for equestrian excellence, our house is delighted to welcome our equestrian friends and enthusiasts every year during major equestrian events. For your convenience, 3 free parking spaces are available. Located just a 15-minute drive from Rouen city centre and a 10-minute walk from public transport (T3 - Prat), it offers all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay.
As you enter, you’ll find the spacious living/dining room with its dining table, two sofas, coffee table, piano for music lovers and a television with all the built-in apps. You’ll also find a more intimate reading corner with plenty of books, a bench and two rocking chairs where you can relax in peace. In the fully equipped kitchen and utility room, you’ll find plenty of appliances to help you cook delicious meals and feel right at home: hobs, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, food processors… Each of the three bedrooms has ample storage space with hangers and shelves, as well as very comfortable beds (two 140x190cm beds and one 160x200cm family bed). Each room features a TV with Chromecast, so you can enjoy your favourite apps. The two bathrooms feature a shower and a bath respectively, each with a toilet and a washbasin unit. You can also enjoy the outdoor area of this house, with its terrace, barbecue and garden furniture, for a relaxing break. There is also a basketball hoop and a table tennis table available for your use.
This house is a place particularly dear to our owners and is intended for all respectful travellers who wish to feel at home… Please note that pets are welcome provided they are well-behaved and adorable! They can also enjoy the green spaces offered by the estate, ideal for a stroll.
Bed linen and household linen are provided within the accommodation to ensure you have a comfortable stay.
Please note that a private parking space is included in the rental price.
The property is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.00 pm to 9.00 pm. We ask that you take care of the property and respect both the premises and the neighbourhood.
We would also like to remind you that it is strictly forbidden to charge an electric vehicle within the property. In the event of non-compliance with this rule, a sum of €100 may be deducted from the deposit. To this end, you will be asked to provide a credit card authorisation via a secure link in order to finalise your booking and obtain the access codes to the property.

## Neighbourhood
Canteleu, located in Normandy near Rouen, is an ideal destination for travellers seeking nature and tranquillity. Perched on a hill overlooking the Seine Valley, this charming village offers spectacular panoramic views and direct access to the Roumare National Forest, perfect for hiking and walks in the great outdoors.
## Transport
To get around from Canteleu, a town near Rouen in Normandy, here are some transport options:
1. By car:
To Rouen: Canteleu is just a 5- to 10-minute drive from Rouen. You can take the D938 road, which leads directly to Rouen.
To other towns: The A150 makes it easier to reach towns such as Le Havre, and via the A13, you can reach Paris.
2. By public transport:
Bus: Canteleu is served by several bus routes on the Astuce network (Rouen Normandy Metropolitan Area Transport Network). The F4 and T3 routes take you to Rouen in around 15 minutes.
Train: The nearest station is Rouen-Rive-Droite. To get there from Canteleu, you can take the bus and then catch a train to Paris, Le Havre or other towns in Normandy.
3. By bike or on foot:
Canteleu has greenways and cycle paths that allow you to reach Rouen or explore the surrounding area (notably the Boucles de la Seine Regional Nature Park).
4. Carpooling:
Platforms such as BlaBlaCar or other carpooling apps can be useful for shared journeys, especially for longer distances.
5. Taxi/private hire:
You can also opt for a taxi or a private hire service (such as Uber or Bolt, if available) for a quicker journey.
There are also soft mobility options such as electric scooters, available in some neighbouring towns such as Rouen.
## Notes
Check-in is self-service for greater flexibility. Check-in is from 4.00 pm and check-out must be by 11.00 am at the latest.
The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm). In the apartment, all our guests are provided with bed linen, essential toiletries for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, toilet paper, etc.), as well as one large towel per person, along with tea towels and a bath mat for each bathroom.
A welcome kit containing kitchen bin bags, bathroom bin bags, a sponge and washing-up liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.
We are committed to providing a pleasant experience; however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Any mid-stay cleaning, changing of linen/towels, restocking of essentials, or deliveries can be arranged on request at an additional cost. Please note that this property is the owners’ main residence. Consequently, they live in the apartment and rent it out when they are away, allowing guests to stay in an authentic home environment. The owners are delighted to make their equipment available to you and to make space in the cupboards for you to organise your belongings. However, please respect their privacy and do not open cupboards that are locked or marked as private.
Enjoying a holiday rental also means following a few rules to ensure everything goes smoothly and to avoid any surprises with your deposit! Please treat the property as if it were your own: avoid causing damage, take care of the furniture and leave the place clean when you leave. Follow the guidelines regarding times and the use of facilities, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. And if any minor issues arise, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Please remember that parties are strictly prohibited (€250 deducted from the deposit), that the property is entirely non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the deposit), that charging electric vehicles is prohibited (€100 will be deducted from the deposit), that pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the deposit) unless prior request and agreement from us has been obtained, and that any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value.
