Disconnect from screens and reconnect with each other at Fox Creek, a countryside cabin on 8 wooded acres in Canton. Just one hour from the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro, this getaway cabin features multiple decks and porches for taking in nature, plus a forest-view hot tub for romantic soaks.

All the joys of camping, without the setup hassles... and with a much better night's sleep! The cabin is stocked with everything from linens to cookware and HVAC!

This cabin has been in our family for 40+ years, and we loved it too much to part with it! We're glad to be able to keep it in the family and share it with the next generation.

Just minutes from First Mondays (the world's largest flea market), yet so tucked away on its 8 acres you won't see another soul near the cabin! Utter seclusion is yours here.

Perfect getaway

This was a great place to stay to get away from the city for a quick break. The property is beautiful, with lots of trees and native plants. The house was comfortable and inviting.

Weekend Getaway

Secluded retreat, we enjoyed our stay here very much, perfect location. The house was well equipped with all the cooking equipment you could possibly need, the hosts were great communicators. The pictures don’t do the space justice it’s the best place we’ve stayed in Canton so far!

The Perfect Birthday Getaway

Very private and beautiful! The hot tub was very relaxing, built a fire, watched movies, laid in the hammock, enjoyed the balcony in the morning, the front porch was cozy, as well as the sunroom ! I will be back! Thank you!

A relaxing, peaceful retreat.

The cabin was just what we like! Clean, quiet and well stocked with what we needed. We enjoyed all the outdoor extras…sun porch, great front porch, zero-gravity swing, hot tub and a nice porch off the upstairs bedroom. Bed was very comfortable. It was a great get-away from the daily stress and busyness. Would stay there again.

We really enjoyed the cabin. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided and easy instructions left for things we were using. The hot tub was fantastic and the bed was super comfortable. The cabin was easily accessible to the highway and town when we needed to get food or anything else. We will be back!

Worth every penny!

It was everything we wanted. We had almost all the comforts of home and privacy and peace and quiet. Although, I suggest you update the photos to include the new larger refrigerator and updated HVAC system.

Canton Weekend

This little cabin is so quite and serene and close to First Monday Trade Days. You are surrounded by wilderness and it's so peaceful. There aren't any window coverings in the house but you get use to it because there is nothing around you. However, it was a little uncomfortable in the bathroom. I would suggest some type of window covering in the shower. The back door sticks and you have to use some muscle to get it open. But other than that I would stay here again.

4th stay

This is our 4th stay at Fox Creek. We throughly enjoyed ourselves every time. The privacy of the cabin in the woods is great. We feel very isolated and enjoy the peace. There are no curtains on the windows but it was not an issue for us. If you need curtains this may not be the place for you. The cabin is perfect for two people. We arrive on Friday with our food and don’t leave. The hammock is a great place to take in the sights and sounds of the woods. Our only feedback is that the toaster needs to be replaced as it only toasts one side. On the upstairs balcony there needs to be some more comfortable clean seating. The pictures on the listing needs to be updated as the furniture has been rearranged and there is a larger refrigerator and no dishwasher (one is not really needed). We have been coming since 2019, while the hotub is wonderful it is not brand new. If you are looking for a relaxing p, romantic get away you can not go wrong with this place.

Enchanted forest

Loved this little cabin in the woods. So private. Beautiful lichen growing everywhere. All amenities were spot on. Spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub. Especially early morning. Felt like sleeping in the trees. So close to Trade Days. We will be staying again!
