"I stayed here a few days for a work trip (two coworkers and myself), and I wish we had more time to spend at the cabin! Very comfy, quiet, and well-accommodated. Communication with host was prompt, polite and helpful. They gave clear instructions/directions to get to the property (it is a bit off the main road, but that's a plus if you're looking to relax).I took the Murphy bed, and it was quite comfortable. My coworkers said the other two beds are even better, so you shouldn't have any problems getting to sleep here.The cabin has a lot of charm, the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The number of outdoor lighting options is impressive, definitely a fun spot to hang out. Hot water got hot in the shower right away, bathroom downstairs is nicely outfitted (barely saw upstairs, but I was told it was decent), and the living room area is welcoming.If you are looking to go someplace and be perpetually online, this is not for you. The house has older satellite internet (it's tough to get broadband this far off the grid) so it's best to just "hotspot" from your phone (T-Mobile gets decent 5G, Verizon barely 1 bar of LTE). I was able to do the necessary remote work without much issue, but honestly...if you are going to book this place just put the phone down, power off the laptop and enjoy the peace this place provides.It definitely lives up to the name "Pleasant Place," and the host goes out of their way to keep it that way. I am definitely considering coming back!"

"This property is in serious need of some attention and maintenance. We chose this hotel over others because of their fitness room. As it turned out, the treadmill was broken, the elliptical was missing (likely broken), and the bike was so wobbly and rickety that we did’t dare try it. So the fitness room was unusable. The ice machine on our floor was broken, as well. In our room, the hook on the bathroom door had been pulled out leaving holes and missing paint behind. The same for the hair dryer holder. The dryer was just lying on the bathroom counter. The whole experience left us feeling like there is no effort being put into this property and wondering how that might effect the cleaning, as well. We will never stay there again."

"The property is old. The bed and flooring were good. The fold over lock did not work and had been repaired poorly. The bathroom shower was cracked in 2 places. Paint splatter all over. Some bugs in bathroom area. Front curtains would not close , exposing the inside beds. I had to us clips for privacy."
