"The cabin is located on the mountain, with a fabulous and phenomenal view of the Denali peaks. The location is truly off the grid, and staying here feels like stepping away from modern urban life and experiencing the same simple lifestyle as your hosts.This is definitely not a place to expect regular hotel service, so if that’s your standard, you may be disappointed. But if you’re a backpacker, outdoor enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique adventure, this place feels like a luxury spot in the wilderness. There’s a warm and comfortable bed, a gas heater to keep you cozy, and a cooktop so you can prepare a warm meal.One of the most unforgettable parts of our stay was spending the nights with the sled dogs. They were such a special part of the experience, and we absolutely loved being greeted by few dogs when we arrived!Emily and Richie are a lovely couple who genuinely tried their best to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their hospitality made the experience even more special.If you want to escape urban life for a while, reconnect with nature, and experience something truly different, this is a perfect choice."

"Location was great with an idyllic setting along the Nenana River. We really enjoyed our stay and the lodge was a great feature with sit down or to go food options, open early and late, a full bar, souvenir shopping, etc. The only problem was the room was too warm, but a box fan was provided and much needed. We’d definitely recommend Denali Park Village. Thank you."

"These cabins are tiny, as described, and it’s important to know what you’re booking. The main floor has a small sink/counter, shower stall, separate toilet room, and a small 2-person couch under the ladder that folds into a bed. A ladder leads to the sleeping loft. While the roof peak is around 7 ft, most of the loft has much less headroom.For their size, the cabins are well stocked with fluffy towels, warm flannel sheets, and fleece blankets. Alpenglow has a refrigerator smaller than a typical dorm fridge; Aurora’s is slightly larger. The cabins are solar powered, so be conscious of energy use. Lighting is minimal, there’s one very small mirror over the shared kitchen/bathroom sink, and no hair dryer.These are rustic, off-grid cabins. You can see daylight through some cracks that have been sealed with clear caulk, and cold nights can be chilly. The heater keeps the loft warm, but downstairs stays cooler. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. While they are away from the highway, you still get quite a bit of road noise. If you want a house, this isn’t it. If you want a unique, off-grid experience, I highly recommend it. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!"

"Cute and comfy cabin right on a private lake! We didn’t spend much time in the cabin because we were hiking a lot in the national and state parks. The location is easily accessible to both! One night we blissfully fell asleep to rain! Highly recommend!"
