"property manager Mike greeted us in the parking lot upon arrival, what a generous guy, very polite and informative a really cute place we chased Aurora for 3 days in Fairbanks and Denali National Park, but just unexpectedly saw Aurora on top of this lake from 3 different directions. Shower with towels and the main house is just sparkling clean we will definitely stay in this historic primitive cabin again Ali & Shahla"

"Would have loved to stay longer. This is a really nice place! Very friendly host onsite. Has almost anything you can think of in the cabin. Including kids play items. Only detractor is it’s right on the highway so you can hear the traffic but…that’s also a good thing to make it easier to find it! No dusty long off the beaten track hideaway but still a lovely site with nature all around. Really wish we could stay a lot longer."

"This place was good for spending the night when we traveled to Denali. It was only about 30 minutes from the visitor center. The cabin doesn't have running water and you have to walk to the main building for the bathrooms which wasn't a big deal. The main building is under construction so it doesn't have a lot of amenities but the owner was very helpful and provided us with water for our cabin. The only thing that wasn't good was it's right next to railroad tracks that 2 trains came by blowing their horns at 1:30am and 3:30am."

"We ended up enjoying our stay in these tiny cabins. They were a little tight but they were properly described in the listing. We figured out how to maneuver. As old travelers headed to a cruise, we have luggage. These cabins really don't have space for opening a suitcase. We managed. The heat was weak downstairs but warm upstairs. The water was hot. We enjoyed our two nights."

"Emily and Richie are amazing hosts! They have addressed many utilitarian and aesthetic details that make the Moose Cabin a pleasant place to call home for a multi day Denali adventure. The location offers absolute tranquility just minutes from Parks Hwy. The local gas station staff are friendly and offers many basic supplies, including ice, for the cooler at the cabin. The cabin kitchen was adequately equipped for simple meals and a much appreciated upgrade from my Jetboil. The bed was comfortable and bedding cozy. The dog sled tour was an exciting way to orient ourselves to the Denali area and kick off our stay. I highly recommend the Moose cabin for a peaceful, comfortable base camp…& the we loved Richie’s recommendation of the Thai Foodtruck at the Grizzly Campground about 15 minutes North!"
