About this property

Panoramic Lake Views, Hot Tub, Expansive Decks - Sleeps 8, Kayaks, Dogs Welcome

  • Summary:

Take in panoramic Canyon Lake views at The Sanctuary, a stylish 3-bedroom, 3-bath retreat sleeping up to 8. Enjoy approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of outdoor living space, dine on the upper deck, and unwind in the private 4-person hot tub. Updated interiors offer room to gather and relax, while provided kayaks and paddleboards invite lake adventures. Dogs are welcome, and Boat Ramp #6 is about a 3-minute drive away.

    The Space:

At The Sanctuary at Canyon Lake, the view sets the pace. Start your morning with coffee overlooking the water, gather for a meal on the deck, and finish the day with a soak in the hot tub. Recently updated interiors and expansive outdoor spaces create a comfortable setting for enjoying Canyon Lake together, with room to spread out when you want a little quiet.

The home offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms, accommodating a maximum of eight guests.

    Living & Gathering

The upstairs living room features vaulted ceilings, an oversized sectional, and windows that bring the lake scenery inside. Settle in after a day outdoors or gather here to plan your next Hill Country adventure.

The downstairs suite is separated from the two upstairs bedrooms, giving your group distinct spaces to unwind between shared meals and time on the decks. Each level also has its own exterior entrance, so early risers can head outside without passing through the other level—an added convenience for groups with different schedules.

    Kitchen & Dining

The main kitchen makes it easy to prepare everything from a quick breakfast to a relaxed dinner at home. Along with the kitchen appliances, you’ll find a blender, toaster oven, toaster, and slow cooker.

A combination drip coffee maker and Keurig lets you start your morning your way. The indoor dining table seats eight, and the upper-deck dining table also seats eight for meals overlooking Canyon Lake.

The downstairs suite’s entry area includes a sink, wine refrigerator, mini refrigerator, and microwave for added convenience.

    Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The downstairs suite features a king bed alongside a daybed. Its spacious bathroom includes a jetted soaking tub, walk-in shower, large single vanity, separate toilet room, and large walk-in closet.

One upstairs bedroom has two queen beds sleeping a total of four.

The other upstairs bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed with a trundle for flexible sleeping options.

Both upstairs bedrooms have dressers. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan, and hangers and extra pillows are available.

One upstairs bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, floating single vanity, and backlit mirror. The additional upstairs guest bathroom has a tub-and-shower combination and single vanity.

    Decks & Outdoor Living

Approximately 1,500 square feet of outdoor living space gives you plenty of ways to enjoy the home’s elevated lake setting. Glass railings preserve the views, while upgraded decking connects spaces for dining, conversation, and lounging.

The upper deck features a propane grill, dining for eight, and a separate lounge area. Prepare dinner outdoors, linger over a meal, or simply find a comfortable seat and enjoy the panoramic water views.

The lower deck has a private four-person hot tub and additional lounge seating. A wood-burning fire pit offers another place to gather when weather conditions and local burn restrictions permit.

    Lake Days

Two kayaks, two stand-up paddleboards, paddles, and life jackets are provided in the garage, along with a floating water pad.

For guests who enjoy a little adventure, a hillside route leads from the backyard toward the shared shoreline area. The route includes steps and uneven terrain, and carrying equipment back uphill requires additional effort. Consider your group’s comfort with the route before taking water equipment down.

Planning a day on the lake? Party Cove is nearby by water, making the home a convenient base for guests exploring Canyon Lake by boat. Boat Ramp #6 is approximately a three-minute drive away, giving guests another nearby option for getting onto Canyon Lake. Check current ramp status and lake conditions before planning to launch, as availability can change with water levels.

Depending on lake levels and shoreline conditions, boaters may be able to temporarily secure their boat near the base of the property and follow the hillside route up to the house for lunch. There is no private dock or designated mooring, and boat access is not guaranteed.

    Family Conveniences & Laundry

A Pack ’n Play, high chair, foldable mat, and foldable stroller are available in the downstairs guest closet.

The washer and dryer are in the garage, accessible near the front entrance. An iron and ironing board are also provided.

    Guest Access:

Guests have access to the home, decks, private hot tub, fire pit, and guest amenities, including the laundry facilities and provided water equipment in the garage.

Enjoy the different gathering spaces throughout the property, from meals on the upper deck to quiet time in the downstairs suite and evenings overlooking the lake.

    The Neighborhood:

Surrounded by scenic views and outdoor adventure, this home is ideally located to enjoy Canyon Lake’s popular parks, attractions, and Hill Country landmarks—perfect for relaxing, exploring, and making the most of lake life.

The house was lovely beds were comfy. We had a few maintenance issues with the house. We let the owner know about them and she was very responsive. How’s that?
