"Everything from the check-in to the checkout and everything in between was great clean room when we arrived staff was excellent outdoor pool was great and the indoor pool was small but still good very close to the beach right on the oceanfront great view of the ocean!!!! Not necessarily negative thing, but the continental breakfast could use a little freshening up everything was pretty good for the most part but having turkey bacon and Canadian/bacon instead of real bacon was a real bummer in my opinion at least put real bacon back on the menu as well as maybe some steak tips and tater tots instead of big square hashbrowns most of the potatoes were hard and dry other than that breakfast was pretty good overall. We wish this hotel was closer to Ocean Eddie’s because we love the restaurant on the pier, but we found other places like mellow mushroom that were excellent within very close walking distance. We will definitely come again, but if you could spruce up your breakfast, that would be awesome Moor protein options"

"The location is excellent. Right on the beach, but isolated a little from the rest of the crowded beaches of the reatif virginia beach's resort area. However, checking in with the night crew was a disaster. I had to wait almost thirty mins for Todd to check in the guest before me. Then he checked me into the wrong room and told me that was the only room available. When I finally got to the room the door wouldn't accept the key. Todd then changed my room to a non oceanfront room even though I paid more money for a coastal room. I checked on the Wyndham app and confirmed that there was other options available, then asked Todd to upgrade me. He told me if I wanted an upgrade I would need to book the other room online then request a refund from expedia. So much for hospitality."

"Not a great stay for us. Room was ready late. Swim deck/pool is closed and "abandonded". Staff was overworked and attitudes were as such. Mildew smell in hallway. No microwave in kitchenette king water view...or fridge. Views are beautiful over the Marina/water. Room was clean and updated. Restaurant owned by the hotel was delicious. Easy driving in and out. Mixed review, but I will be looking for a better value in Hampton next time. The Landing seems to be aiming for high margin customers but not delivering on the basics that are expected at their room prices."

"From the friendly and helpful check in experience to the well lit free parking on property our overnight stay while in Hampton VA for a concert was wonderful. We were an easy 5 minute walk to the Colosseum. Our room (Rm 221) was spacious, clean, quiet, and had the most comfortable king bed. My husband and I will definitely be back!"
